WE DONT CALL A TAILOR AS A TAILOR UNLESS HE CANT DO ANYTHING WITH HIS NUDENESS !!! what is all these ? 1. The beginning of Lebanon end ( remember Yugoslavia) 2. The beginning of real difficult days of Israel. 3. The end of Repulic Politics life of The US 4. .... 5. ... who will win this time ? the old-fashioned tailors ? or the new tailors ?

You are, they are working very good!
3. right
TONY ,   BEIRUT, LEBANON   (02.08.07)
And we thought that hezbullah only were messing arround, now we see that we have the idf on our borders and the U.N. forces have no value and aren't moving a leg to do anything. So it's our righyt we as lebanese to have our borders protected, and personally i am with 14march and i am against hezbullah. But what you did yesterday might explain why hezbullah is doing what's it doing, due to the idf's arregoncie thinking that lebanon and ghaza are like playgrounds to them. So if the idf wants at least some credibility let it then respect it's neighbors borders.

Israel will vanish soon, because it was founded on terror, theft, and rape.

jeremy ,   Hula Valley Kibbutz   (02.08.07)
We need to show them, you hit us, you get hit in return. Our troops did a wonderful job of pointing that out. Keep up the great job. This great job was done in spite of our lousy Defense Minister!!!
8. This sort of talk makes me sick
Disgruntled ,   Israel   (02.08.07)
We lost over 120 soldiers in Lebanon last year. This sort of brave talk isn't fooling anyone. Our army isn't the same as the one that took on Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq. So just shut up and stop acting so mighty, you are not spooking anyone.
9. FRIEDMAN ANOTHER SILLY GENERAL
Lebanese ,   Lebanon   (02.08.07)
i think he will not do better that oody allan & halutz & will bring more disaster to israeli people if he will not stop his soldiers to go in Lebanese territories
10. Israel's Fence Significantly Inside Int'l Border?
Paqid 16 Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (02.08.07)
For the Tzah"l to operate between the int'l border and our fence implies that our fence is significantly this side of the int'l border. I'm guessing that the Lebanese see the Tzah"l crossing the fence toward them and assume, ignorantly and wrongly (probably deliberately misled by their leaders), that we're crossing into Lebanese territory; perhaps they even think we're attacking or invading them? I'm also guessing this placement of the fence inside our own land is to keep Lebanese out of range from hitting Tzah"l soldiers with rocks and spit? If this isn't the case, how does the Tzah"l operate between the int'l border and our fence? If it is the case, who was the genius who came up with this lame-brained idea? The only realistic purpose of a solitary fence significantly inside our border is to serve notice to the Lebanese - and the world - that we cannot seriously claim territory on their side of the fence. Why haven't we, instead, made the Lebanese as uncomfortable in approaching the int'l border as they make us? How much more absurd it is to allow them to assert control on our side of the int'l border! If we don't change this, it's a matter of time until they claim sovereignty over that strip - and the UN is likely to continue their bias against Israel. A buffer zone is wise, but this requires a fence ON the int'l border PLUS a buffer zone the width of a stone's throw AND Tzah"l mirroring Lebanese tactics. The Tzah"l, from our side of the buffer zone, out of their reach, must defend the fence on the int'l border - shooting anyone crossing into Israel (ending the planting of explosive devices in our territory) - PLUS find creative ways to similarly push the Lebanese back across a similar buffer zone on their side of the int'l border. What's fair for Lebanese is fair for Israelis. If UNIFIL cannot prevent cross-border attacks against Israel then we should force UNIFIL out of the way of our response, using whatever force is required. This is our land and we must defend it. Period. If we are to survive, we cannot be any less aggressive or relentless in defending our land than our enemies are in trying to take it from us. 11. Peretz is a clown, a joke, no one takes him seriously
Chanan ,   USA   (02.08.07)
While Peretz was busy trying to salvage his non-existent reputation, arguing back and forth with Lieberman, insisting on nominating an Arab minister, shoving Ashkenazi down Olmert's throat and supposedly selecting an anti rocket defense system that does not work, Hizballah was planting mines, digging new bunkers and rearming itself. Now this Klumnick pretends that he wants to defend the Northern Communities like he did for Sderot.
12. To # 8, and # 11
Ibrahim ,   S. Arabia   (02.08.07)
If the Israeli army is not what it used to be, perhaps that is because Israelis elect the wrong persons to lead the country: 26 January 2006 Poll: Should resign: Olmert 74% Peretz 84% Who is most appropriate to be prime minister? Netanyahu 45% Barak 19% Olmert 9% Netanyahu 36% Barak 15% Livni 34% Netanyahu 37% Ayalon 24% Livni 23% Netanyahu 44% Ayalon 31% Olmert 8% Following Halutz, should prime minister Olmert resign? Yes 74% No 24% Should minister of defense Peretz resign? Yes 84% No 16% www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=32667

Keren ,   SP-now in Israel   (02.08.07)
And I see another problem in this matter ,that I don't know how it could be changed. Here,is the same as in Brasil;I don't know how ,the same politicians grab the power and do not leave it never more.In Brasil, the same faces are there in the power since Brasil is Brasil, generation to generation(well, actually, now other faces entered into the power, still worse then before...). Here in Israel seems to be the same. Somehow the electing system should be more light, new people should be allowed to enter that CLOSE power top.New and Intelligent people should feel incetiveted to enter in the politics, and quicly get out of there, if not good enough. Something very wrong goes on,that's why Israelis vote wrongly:THEY DON'T HAVE WHOM TO VOTE FOR!
14. Israel's weakness invites attack
Marcel ,   Florida   (02.08.07)
For too long under the fake peace Olso and Road Map Israel has been restrained by her false ally and phony friend the US. THIS RESTRAINT HAS EMBOLDENED THE ENEMY who know well that Israel always backs down when the phone call from Washington directs the stooge P.M. to back down, retreat for the lie of peace, and allow the enemy more room to attack. We see this in Gaza and in Lebanon and now on the Temple Mount. Israel is slowly being squeezed to death as it is restrained on the gurney in the morgue.
15. If Lebanese Army can't deal with Hixzballah...
DR ,   Florida, USA   (02.08.07)
Then Israel will. Hizballah planted explosive devices near the norhtern border intende to kill Israeli troops. The Lebanese army did nothing ot stop this, so Isarel has to patrol the border for them. People who see Israel's self defence as an act of aggression are dumb...period! The world will not tolerate a terror group hiding withing another country and attacking its neighbors. This seems simple enough to understand.
16. #4...not sure what you are saying, but
DR ,   Florida, USA   (02.08.07)
it seems that you sympathize with Hizballah, a terror group, and yet you live int eh USA? Get out while you can. Go join your coward heroes and hide beihnd women and children when the IDF comes for you.

20. Paqid Yirmeyahu, if you believe in Jesus you are NOT a Jew
(02.08.07)
Your community in raanana is a community of Christians who believe in Jesus. They try to convert Jews to your religion, but with little success. You try to publish in talkback with your website, so people who don't know too much about Judaism can fall into your net. I don't think your " operation" will work.
