Sheikh Salah calls to renew riots Saturday    Sharon Roffe-Ophir
1. please someone send this nutter to afghanistan
eliezer ,   new york   (02.09.07)
2. Only "right wing jewish extremists" get arrested
for incitment never arabs.
(02.09.07)
3. The Failure of Plurality
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, because of your commitment to plurality , the State of Israel has allowed an entire fifth column to spawn within its midsts. "Israeli-Arabs" showed where their loyalty lies during last year's war with Lebanon, and they are reaffirming that loyalty today. That loyalty does not lie with Israel. The tough question: will Israel do anything about the sedition driven populace.
California Bear ,   Berkeley, USA   (02.09.07)
4. Whats the matter with these idiots
Do they want to just provoke and cause troubles? Bloodshed? Hate? Firstly, I would have no issue with Israel deporting them to Gaza. Alternatively, Salah will love it and the rest of Umm Al Fahm will thahk him when they are given over to the PA govt and they all lose their benefits. Screw Salah...I hope he gets smashed by a baton....its less than he deserves.
J K ,   NYC, USA   (02.09.07)
5. I Wouldn't Put It Past The Terrorists
to damage the mosque themselves, then blame the Jews.
emanon ,   USA   (02.09.07)
6. There can be only ONE!
Only one group can rule Israel, only one may rule Jerusalem. Temple Mount is too holy to the Jewish people. Palestinians and all Arab Muslims have NO IDEA how much more we love our land and would die for it before we give away a grain of soil. Let the final war for the chosen people decide who deserves control of Jerusalem. A holy city never mentioned once in the koran. Come and get us....
Avi ,   I'm here!   (02.09.07)
7. contiued incitment to riot
lock the basterd up and throw the key away
chaim ,   miami beach usa   (02.09.07)
8. Islamic movement must be stopped
This conflict can't and will not be solved by threats and counter threats. Israel needs to show some sensitivity towards the Muslim's feeling and negotiate with the moderates. This is the only way extreme to weaken extreme elements like the Islamic movement and bring about a peaceful resolution
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (02.09.07)
9. Repairs to al-Aqsa - Temple Mount
If the ramp needs to be repaired and it is upsetting Muslims for Jewish people to perform the work on the ramp, then wouldn't the simplest solution be to hire a Muslim contractor. The ramp would be repaired with the assurance that damage will not be done to the Mosque. The continual fighting between the Jews and the Muslims is sad and very child like. This is the holiest place on earth, we must stop fighting over this place, it is shameful.
Shell ,   Kansas City - USA   (02.09.07)
10. A concrete question
CAN ANYONE GIVE US ONE PASSAGE IN THE QURAN WHICH MENTIONS JERUSALEM? I have searched over and over again, and can not find any.
Ibrahim ,   S. Arabia   (02.09.07)
11. Outrage?
Where were the riots of outrage after 9/11? Oh wait, the Palestinians celebrated it by handing out candy to children and dancing in the streets. How are we going to have peace with people like this?
Tal ,   Phoenix   (02.09.07)
12. Put this loser behind bars for inciting riots!
(02.09.07)
13. @8, who are the moderates, Rami?
Suzanne   (02.09.07)
14. Most in Islamic world making a "Hill out of Mole" withthis!!
KMR ,   Middle East   (02.09.07)
15. Why this fanatic is not in Jail (at least) ?!
(02.09.07)
16. Israel is losing the Propaganda war1
This Salah moron is stiring the shit again! he was barred from the Temple Mount , yet he is ignoring his restraining order. Why doesn't the police arrest him for trespassing? This is so disappointing!
Dov ,   canada   (02.09.07)
17. To Arms! We wil have the mother of all infitadas!
These Pali leaders/spokesmen and their bravado have surpassed boring heading well into irritating.
Salah ,   Israel   (02.09.07)
18. Jewish activists get jailed for talking badly
about Israeli politicians, under the pretence of "incitement." Yet those who truly incite to violence walk free.
Antonio ,   Haifa   (02.09.07)
19. #18 Its time to organize! Now Or Never!!!
(02.09.07)
20. Rioters should be charged and sent to Gaza
Tracy W   (02.09.07)
21. Send him
to Syria, of Sheol, whichever's handier !
leon ,   Grand Rapids USA   (02.09.07)
22. This Sheikh Salah guy...
...seems to be totally OTT (over the top). In every other country he would be already behind bars for inciting violence. Moreover, he should get proper psychiatric treatment, he appears to urgently need it. Let's see how many in his community will be stupid enough to follow this madman. BO
Bernd ,   Germany   (02.09.07)
23. Mecca
is the capital of the "Islamic" nation. You only get one capital. Oh, wait. You have Medina also. OK. You only get two capitals. Not three.
Jane   (02.09.07)
24. #9: Muslims Don't Want ANY Repair Work Done
Then they can say "See? Jews don't care about this place. Look: they let it fall down". Just like the rest of the false conflict: It's not about land. It's about world domination by force, deceit or any combination thereof.
emanon ,   USA   (02.09.07)
25. #9 - Shell from Kansas
Common sense and logic don't work with those folks. Any Muslim contractor who took that job would be lynched for collaborating with the Jews. As far as your comments about childlike fighting over "this place", I must remind you that Israel made a generous concession to the Arabs in 1967 when it allowed them partial control and access. It didn't have to. Israel is not fighting over it. It's the Arabs who want the Jews completely out of Temple Mount. It's the Arabs who riot and make constant and unreasonable demands.
Tracy W   (02.09.07)
26. If this had happened under a pro-Israel government
those Muslim leaders would have been arrested and charged with incitement, at the very least.
Tracy W   (02.09.07)
27. to Suzanne # 13
Moderates are secular muslim leaders who do not seek to establish an islamic state, like Fatah and other secular organizations in the palestinian lands and like secular arabic parties in Israel.. It is wrong to completely ignore the other party's feeling and act as if this dig is in some backyard in Bat-yam
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (02.09.07)
28. Again!
They are going crazy without any reason! The bridge is meant for them and tourists... They aren't ashamed of conducting such a mindless violent rally!
Michael ,   formerly Tel Aviv   (02.09.07)
29. They are happy to get
the benefits Irael gives them, but their loyalty is very questionable. Suggest - this is a Jewish State in its Charter, if they act as a fifth column - expell them to the PA.
Joe ,   USA   (02.09.07)
30. Wait & See ......
There is ZERO doubt that these contrived riots are the prelude to the next intifada in line with Arafat's one in 2000. They are paving the way through many avenues. However, by planting in the minds of PA & Israeli Arabs that Israel is out to destroy them they heighten the jihad. As IF they needed any other incentives to terrorize Jews! In addition, once the jihad goes into full swing they will jab their fingers in the air and scream that the JOOS started in with their 'provocations'. IF I can see all this from the US I cannot imagine that the so called leaders in Israel cannot. So too are the provocations on the northern border planned in concert with their PA brothers. Look, Iran is pulling ALL the terror strings, and their plan is to heat up the northern border, and the PA terror groups in concert with the Islamists in Israel. This new jihad will commence as close to the date as possible that the world powers start squeezing the mullahs into compliance.
