For the most part, the wall which is visiable today was built over the original wall. The original retaining wall still exists underground. Archeologists have uncovered it. I have seen it. I have touched it. Furthermore, digging at the Temple Mount has uncovered Jewish artifacts dating back to Solomon's time. Have there ever been any Arab artifacts uncovered? NO!
