Chevrat Chashmal has been voted the best company to work for every year. You cannot get a job there unless you have a family member working there. Essentially us citizens pay tax to support these privileged workers

Also, this disaggregation occured in the mid-1990's with the monopoly Electricity Commission in my home state of New South Wales. It now consists of several generation companies, one transmission company (which is a heavily regulated monopoly) and 3 distribution (retail) companies. All are state owned corporations.
