1. Im sorry Vered, what are you smoking?
I havent heard any Arabs from the other so-called branches condemn what he says. I wouldnt expect the Arab MKs who love to vacation in Syria and Lebanon condemn it. Why would they? Arab MKs, Israeli residents claim their 'own' country is occupied by itself (see the ration here)? You don't have the competence to draw a division between him and the rest of the arab israelis. A silenced witness is also compicit .

2. The Sheik Is Not Radical, He's Mainstream
He represents the views of Islam but not necessarily all Muslims. I would not presume to know the opinion of all Israeli Arabs but this is what the author does. He assumes because there were not massive riots, the Sheik has no support. At the same time, I did not hear of one voice in the Arab community condemning his views. On the contrary, he received support from the Arab MK's, known for their fervent patriotism, as well as support all over the Muslim world, including gov'ts (even the King of Jordan). Am I wrong? Was there a hidden chorus of Arab or Muslim criticism of Sheik Salah?
This desperate search for "moderates" is a delusion. The problem lies in the ideology itself, in mainstream Islam, which in my opinion (& many others) is a totalitarian political ideology with a religious componant.
To be fair, it is evident that not all Muslims subscribe 100% to this ideology. Not all Germans supported Hitler 100% nor did 100% of Russians support Communism. It didn't stop these ideologies from being dangerous & dominating whole countries & eliminating dissenters.
It is intellectually dishonest not to face up to this problem as most of the Western media certainly does by pretending that the problem is confined to radicals or that there are illusory "moderates" on the political scene.

4. Just lock them up in the Negev.
Just lock up the Islaminazi leadership in secret jails in the Negev. Do like the Muslims do with our soldiers. Capture them, lock them up, hide them away, allow no contact with them, provide no reports on them. No publicity, no attention, hide them away and forget about them.

5. You are 100% wrong
I am not sure who brainwashed you with this garbage, you certainly have no business writing or "media relations"
The so called "sweep under the carpet and hope it disappears" strategy has been proven to be suicidal EVERY time around.
One does not ignore radical violence inciting Arabs or murders such as this guy.
What happens is you get another Adolph Hitler, who the world tried to ignore and figured he would just disappear.
Do us a favor and go study some history... Or else they will be studying us in history on how civilization was lost to muslim's.

7. The deafening silence of the moderate muslims
It's the disturbing relativity of the term "moderate" isn't it? Never to be sure if silence is a sign of approval or disapproval. Knowing that for a muslim Allah always comes before love to a fellow human being and before loyalty to the country whose passport he's carrying.

8. you are 100% right
Vered is right on the money. The Israeli-Arab sector is as diverce as the jewish sector. Salah represents only a small segment and true jurnalisim should reflect that, but instead all we see is the Israeli media portraying him as a representative of the whole sector, which is WRONG and misleading
