Egyptian Atrocities Against Sudanese Refugees Worsen Feburary 18, 2006 Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy has learned that the Egyptian government has underreported the number of Sudanese refugees killed by Egyptian authorities, and that Egypt continues to perpetrate human rights abuses against Sudanese civilians. Damanga calls upon the United Nations office in Cairo, as well as the greater international community, to intervene on behalf of the embattled refugees. The atrocities committed in Egypt against Sudanese refugees have proved much greater than previously understood. Though Egypt has reported killing 27 Sudanese civilians in December, Damanga has received information from various refugee sources claiming that Egyptian authorities actually have killed more than 100 refugees. Several of these additional killings took place inside Egyptian detention facilities, with some victims of the December attacks succumbing to their wounds and dying in hospitals. Moreover, Damanga has learned that Egyptian authorities tortured detained Sudanese refugees, and several refugees are still unaccounted for. Whether it's true or not, one thing is sure: the Egyptians did NOT murder a few hundred Israeli POWs in cold blodd as we are alleged to have done to captured Egyptian soldiers. If the accusation is true, then we need to issue a grovelling apology to (a) the families of those we murdered, (b) the government of Egypt, and (c) the people of Egypt. We must also compensate the families of the murdered POWs.

no, no such trips ever took place. my boyfriend then, an idf soldiers, was captured and imprisoned in egypt. i do not need to tell you that the only trip he took was to a very intense torture chamber. no such trips took place, no contact with the media or red cross, and the treatment was alla sing sing and russian goulags as well as the torturous prisons you saw in the movie midnight express. there were also sodomy and rapes done as to humiliate the our soldiers. most returned home with no limbs or finger nails. my boyfriend returned without both eyes. they were gouched. pity he couldn't see all of "the wonderful trip and attractions in cairo". oh, how i wish they really took that proposed egyptian trip!!!!! he would have come home cnot blind.

A few years ago, I was priviledged to see unedited testimony of a survivor of the Bar lev line forts who was captured by the Egyptians. They asked all the captives if they fought in the 6 Day war. All who admitted this were summarily shot. The testimony was later edited out by the producers, perhaps to achieve "balance". It was well documented how our soldiers were abused and mutilated as POW's.If you were there please name one of the Egyptian POW's murdered.If you were not there then shut-up and stop acting as if you are an expert. The site www.isracast.com has testimony that supports that the Steiner-like Egyptians executed 100's of Israeli POWs, and used flame throwers on Israeli troops.
