Defend themselves from what??? If Iran is attacked it is only b/c they continue to defy the UN, US and the rest of the international community. If they stop enriching uranium, agree to the UN terms and let Russia, China and /or the US help them with their energy needs, they will have no problems...BUT, they are doing everything possible to start a conflict. you know some history, I see. The US ended the blodiest war ever by using two bombs. How many lives did that save? Millions? The US is the authority in this world whether you like it or not. They contribute the most aid money to everyone in the world, have the best technology, medicine, education, military etc etc etc. The fact that you were brought up to hate the US and israel is not our fault...brainwashing is a terrible thing and you are proof of that. There is no way the world is ready for a nuclear iran under their current regime. It will not be long untill the usa or israel does something about it. The Iranian people really need to stand up and get these quack jobs outta control before it is too late. The clock is ticking.
