2. 40 years
Alan ,   Margate USA   (03.28.07)
It only took 40 years after the "Three NOs" of The Khartoum resolution for the Arabs to realize that they made a mistake and should have accepted Israel's offer to return the Est Bank and Gaza. Sorry guys, you're 39 years tool late!!
3. He's WRONG!
JPS ,   Efrat   (03.28.07)
4. War might be good: An excuse to expel Yesha's Arab bastards
Ronny ,   TA   (03.28.07)
Will we miss them after they are no longer in our country???
5. A warmongering terrorist with nothing to offer
Rob ,   UK   (03.28.07)
So why give this guy air time on YNET?
6. Aceptence Of Full Plan Is Beginning of End
emanon ,   usa   (03.28.07)
Israel is the Capital of Israel. Always was, always will be. Giving it to any other country is not an option. Everything in between is negotiable.
7. Same old crap, same old Jew haters
Gary A. MD ,   Boston USA   (03.28.07)
Tell the Saudi morons to get lost. They are a bunch of anti-semetic slobs who simply have oil and no degree of intelligence. Go sit in the desert and rot you bunch of rats!
8. #2 Better Late Then Never
MARK ,   USA   (03.28.07)
The Saudis can not threaten any country into making peace. It will not work. There has to be a genuine offer of peace and an a genuine desire for peace. Once that happens on both sides, peace will prevail!
9. SO WHAT'S NEW, WHATEVER ISRAEL DOES ITS GOING TO WAR WITH
MOSHE ,   US   (03.28.07)
p'arabs. THAT IS HOW THE p'arabs WANT IT. MAYBE THE p'arabs CAN GET A BETTER LIFE IN soodi arabica. HOPE THEY MOVE OUT QUICK. WE DON'T NEED THEM. MOSHE
10. Hahaha. "Israel not into peace, look at Egypt?"
Suzanne   (03.28.07)
this guy must be living in another dimension.
11. Saudis askin for war!?
Daniel ,   Israel   (03.28.07)
Reading between the line spells something big is cooking within Muslim world. Now Saudis wants war with Israel and ultimately rest of the world. This is "agree with what we say or face consequences" there is no place for appeal.
12. Oh well...
Uri ,   Croatia   (03.28.07)
...Then the war it is.
13. FOR THE LAST 60 YEARS SAUDIS REJECTED PEACE
stude ham   (03.28.07)
And suddenly it's going to be Israel's fault for not taking on their ultimatum? What a bunch of warped royals. Let them look after their own houses which are now crumbling at the edges.
14. Both sides must want peace equally?
Talula ,   Israel   (03.28.07)
But he expects us to bow down and accept every single thing, like a lateral sort of agreement? The man is living in LaLa land. The man also wants Israel to sign some peace agreement so the Saudi's can legitimately start making more billions with Israeli technology and know-how. Because he sure won't be getting his new Aston Martin Vanquish from anything the Syrians or Palestinians have on offer or invented lately. LOL
15. He is largely correct
Michael Steiner   (03.28.07)
This is one of the best chances of, perhaps not totally resolving but certainly getting three quarters of the way toward a final agreement. Apart from the refugee clause, which the Arabs have stated is negotiable, Israel really has absolutely nothing to object to this time. This is the final act: will Israel show it wants peace or that it is happy to continue with the conflict indefinitely? Somehow, I think it'll be the latter. But it'll be great seeing how those in charge of my homeland try to squirm their way out of this one. My guess: they'll regurgitate the old platitudes about the Road Map and how nothing can be done until the Palestinians disarm and come grovelling to us.
16. Nothing in return???
Danny - Israeli one   (03.28.07)
Egypt gets billions in aid from US, got the Sinai back - a block of land larger than Israel + territories - and not to have the crap kicked out of it every decade and got their independence from the Russians. If the Arabs consider this "nothing", no wonder we are still at war. The real question is what did Israel get? a dump in the form of Gaza, vicious anti-semitic propaganda from state sponsored press and half-hearted diplomatic links.
17. No No No
(03.28.07)
What a putz First he wants what was on the table YEARS ago and adds the refugee thing in it. Plus, he down plays recognition towards the end of the article. So what this amounts to is that we will give away Israel for nothing. Please keep all pens away from Olmert....
18. Israel
Kuly ,   UK   (03.28.07)
Damn right he is right. The only reason there are so many islamic radicals in this world is becuase the west and Israel have failed to give the Palestinians what is rightfully theirs.
19. hes true
Wyatt ,   CA, US   (03.28.07)
all the arab world have done so far were all for the benefits of israel, they had to recognize israel, they had to spare their land for them. But what do they get in return?
20. ARAB WORLD IS IMPERIALISM
(03.28.07)
21. Is this a threat, or is just my impression?
Keren ,   SP-now in Israel   (03.28.07)
In portuguese we say:"se ficar, o bicho come;se fugir, o bicho pega". This is what this "thing" is stating: "If they(Jews) stay, the devil eat;if they (Jews)leave, the devil catch". And about the underneath position from Israel about this issue,I ask: "The plan also proposes granting the right of return to all Palestinian refugees – a clause that Israel is opposed to adamantly." Does this mean that this stupid actual gov. of Israel agree with the rest? Is that what is implicitit in this statement?
22. Reaching out to Israel has never achieved anything?
Ben Ami ,   Budapest, Hungary   (03.28.07)
For one, Egypt was given the Sinai peninsula. I suppose that is something, and if it is not, they might us well give it back to us. We could make good use of it.
23. Goliath goes to school
Josef ,   Finland   (03.28.07)
The Arab-Goliath counterpart has always initiated the wars against Israel-David, and always lost. Goliath, nevertheless, wants to dictate, what Israel should do and not do. The world doesn't work this way. This, unfortunately , means, Goliath has to take more lessons, which, in turn, usually are painful to Goliath. The school goes on until Goliath learns. No good pupil.
24. Finally
jackie kunitz ,   USA   (03.28.07)
So the Saudis have finally spoken and what they say reveals the Arab mind completely in all its ugliness. Do what we want or we will kill you. That is what he is saying in no-so-veiled terms. And this is what Israel has been facing even since before 1948, killings of Jews by Arab murderers while the rest of the world looks on.
25. more Lies by Saudi Arabia
Ken Jurist   (03.28.07)
Earth to Faisal, Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan and has never once broken one part of that agreement. If he forgets, Israel offered the Palestinians a state 7 years ago, even offering their ancient capital Jerusalem to the Palestinians. The Palestinians said no, cause they are the rejectionists. The Arabs and Islamic world never once offered the Palestinians a state. Then this fool actually says Israel wants war if they dont accept 2 Palestinian states. The Arab refugees were the result of a direct attempt by the Arab Armies to eliminate Israel in 48." Arab intentions to flood Israel with millions of Arabs is just another ploy to destroy the Jewish state. I would finally point out, Saudi Arabia totally opposes a Kurdish state in Iraqi Kurdistan. Typical fascist Arabs.
26. Saudi ultimatum IS a declaration of war
BigE ,   Israel   (03.28.07)
They want to kill off Israel, whatever it takes! Flood us with phony "refugees". Do a fait accompli on untenable "borders". Threaten us whichever way we turn. Tie us up diplomatically. Saudia - the true apartheid state - is now calling the shots to try to beat Iran to the punch! Sick, genocidal, bigoted bastards.
27. Details Details
J K ,   NYC, USA   (03.28.07)
Fine, the Arab plan might be good coffee discussion material, but in the endgame, the only enforceable resolution on this matter in UNSCR 242 which only obligates Israel to depart from certain agreed upon territories and not the whole shebang. Of course the Arabs are trying to circumvent this with their 'piece plan', but its not worth the paper its printed on. If Saudi Arabia is threatning war, Israel should tell them if war comes, they better break out the tents and water cause they're gonna have about 2.4 million guests coming to stay.
28. Propose something that is for peace
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (03.28.07)
yesterday a Hamas minister addmited that their goals is an all Islamic world. The Muslims are taking over Europe slowly and would love for to accept their millions so that they can breed Jews out of power. The truth is there needs to be a just solution for both Jews and Arabs. No one talks about the homes that were left behind in Arab countries when was was declared on Israel. Also the number of true refugees can not be more than a few thousand by now. After all it is almost 60 years since they left Israel at their Arab brothers insistence, otherwise they could still be living here like the Arabs in Haifa and other cities in Israel.. The Geneva Convention only recognizes people who were displaced, not their children or grandchildren. So why should the Palestinians be different. So if the choice is suicide Israel should choose to see if the Arabs will declare war. After all Israel is 5:0 when attacked.
29. He's Right?
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (03.28.07)
"It has never been proven that reaching out to Israel achieves anything," Funny Egypt has been getting millions of dollars every year since the signing of the peace deal with Israel. And both Egypt and Jordan have been getting millions in tourist trade, import/export deals, and technology transfer. Plus enhanced relations with the US and EU. This is not "achieving anything?"
30. Muslim Lies
Randy McCulloch ,   Orange County, USA   (03.28.07)
The same old rhetoric from the mouth of liars. Don't believe anything from the mouth of a Muslim, all children of the Deceiver. Allah (Satan) is NOT greater and never will be. Israel should surrender nothing to evildoers, and the US should definitely not pressure Israel to do so. Jehovah will judge anyone who pressures Israel to divide the land He has given to them!
