Avraham ,   Netivot   (04.04.07)
3. I totally agree, Terry
mose ,   Ashkelon, Israel   (04.04.07)
Olmert spends NIS900 per day on himself and his family while Gaydamak takes in thousands for Passover. I'd also prefer it if he doesn't come back!
4. Pity he didn't stay up there last summer
Righteous Zionist ,   Israel   (04.04.07)
Those responsible for the disastrous war try to cover their backsides nine months later by pathetically promoting tourism. The horse has bolted.
5. Olmert really needs a break, after all.....
Miriam   (04.04.07)
He has worked tirelessly to try and release our three captive soldiers, comfort ing the people from Gush Katif who are living in rubbish homes on the sand near Askelon. I hope they all have a merry time but imagine spending a holiday with Yosef Lapid!!! Olmert you should have invited your sons, they too have had a hard time worrying afar about their dear old Dad.
6. Hair Doilies for worship
and how ,   we're p(r)aying...   (04.04.07)
is the ad above this world shattering boring piece of non news. Maybe the ladies in this jewish minded machsom group can use the afor mentioned doilies to 'pray in style' for their visits to the local (nonexistent?) synagogue, ha ha aren't I funny? Maybe to the mosque and the gahder, though?
7. WORST PRIME MINISTER EVER
aaron ,   ra'anana   (04.04.07)
8. So can we expect the return of
in the north ,   cold   (04.04.07)
warmth and sunshine when they leave? Pretty cold up here now, and judging by the company up here,THAT'S not surprising.
9. Give the man and his family a break!!!
sabbageorge ,   Tel Aviv   (04.04.07)
Everyone is entitled to a break, withtheir family and friends!! It is not easy being the prime minister of Isreal (which was democraticly voted into power) At least he is promoting tourism in the North. and not using DIRTY money used to assist rebels in Africa to faulsly entetain and impress the blind nation whose G-d is money!
10. To the Editor: Is this really newsworthy?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.04.07)
What the PM does in his spare time is his business and who the hell, cares. If you want to report on the "North of the Country" that so many choose to forget about, why don't you remind our worth politicians of all the promises that they have broken that were made to the "North" during and immediately after the war? You might ask why has the train service to Karmiel, promised for 2008 (the words of our Mayor and Chairman of the Local Authorities Union Adi Eldar ) been delayed to 2011? Why has construction not started on the scandalous Road 6 link to the North? Why is there no air service from the North to the Centre of the country? Why hasn't Haifa Airport's runway been extended so we don't have to travel for 2 to 3 hours to get to Ben Gurion? Why has the “North”, the step-child of the State of Israel been forgotten? These are things to report on not on what Olmert & Co did for the Pesach Holiday!
11. #10 An addition
Pee kasso   (04.04.07)
Paintings were being valued/sold up North during the war by one oh so devoted husband. 'Aint that wonderul too?
12. Well done for showing his rented guesthouse
(04.04.07)
Let's hope his security is good, huh?
13. Right-On David of Karmiel!
barbara ,   har halutz, galilee   (04.04.07)
David, it is even worse than you think. Why did the MOF remove the ISR Karmiel line from the budget? It is now INDEFINITELY delayed. We have been forgotten big-time, and none of the politicians answer to us, Mr. PM included. Mr. PM, if you answered to us, you would be out of office and staying in our north as the former PM that you should be. Mr. Eldar why aren't you doing or saying anything about this situation? Do you think we don't know ? Ynet, you ought to report the real news, as bad as it is, rather than this "fluff"!
