31. #30 I was talking about Steiner. You misunderstood my post.
...I think...honestly I couldn't really make out what you were trying to say. But just to clear it up, I was responding to Michael Steiner.

32. Criticizing Israel is fine as long as you apply
the same standards to all the Middle Eastern countries. Israel is not Iceland surrounded by water. It is neither Australia nor New Zealand. It has plenty of neighbors that seek the extermination of every Jewish man, woman and child. It is surrounded by the nasty, brutal, horrific Arab states that are based on hatred and terror. They practice discrimination, persecution of minorities and genocide is you have a darker color. This is the reality of the neighborhood where Israel is in.

33. Injustice in Hebron
The only injustice is that arabs are living there. I don't understand how any genuine Jew could glibly turn Hebron over to the arabs.

34. Ethnic cleansing Jews, establisthing apartheid in Hebron
Since 1929, the Arab Muslims have been trying to ethnically cleanse Jews out of Hebron and establish apartheid their. They have not succeeded so far, but with the help of Olmert, Peretz and the rest of Israel's government, they probably will succeed and Hebron will become Judenrein.

35. #2 were hundreds of Jews who were expelled
from their homes or murdered in Hebron in 1929, "settlers" from NY as well? Thats news to me. And ironically the people who expelled them were recent Arab arrivals from Syria...who to this day now occuppy the same houses that these Jews once owned. I guess that suddenly makes these Arabs the "natives," in a land that they call "Palestine..." ( a very Arabic sounding name indeed.)
Hell, I didn't even realize that Hebron was located in the "Galiliee." Thats also news to me, but I guess as a "native Palestinian" you will know the geography of your "native Palestine" back to front.
And Steiner how many descendents of the victims of the Hebron riots spoke out against the so called "settlers?" One? Who does he speak for? What about the other descendents? What about justice for the actual victims and their rights to reclaim what is theres?

36. Saying defense minister approves means no sale
B"H
If Peretz has to approve every purchase, that means the Jews of Hebron cannot legally own land. Peretz could care less for their rights. That means the Jews of Hebron are considered slaves by the Israeli government as well as Arab government.
One distinguishing factor between slavery and not being a slave is the right to own land if purchased. Peretz denies that right here, denying that these Jews are free people.
There is a huge problem of slavery of Jews on this land to Peretz and his troops. Of course they will rebel against it. If a free person purchases land he has every right to it. And these free people are not giving up their land to dictator Peretz.
I understand that Peretz has an election to win and he would want to time the removal of the Jews right before the poll, because he considers himself king of the place. But I cannot see him actually winning that election, because he has resigned himself to the finance, explaining that he wants to write Olmert to shift focus.
So what is the point of the evictions when the land was purchased in the best possible manner? To boost Peretz's ego?
As for the threat that Hebron could go up in fire, that could always happen. It is especially more likely if Peretz rips out Jews who best purchased the building, denying Jewish citizenship in the city.

Do the Zionists really believe that 200,000 Palestinians must make way for a couple oh hundred "settlers."

38. Jrewish Rights to Hebron
Its not illegal to take over what belongs to you. Be it homes in Hebron, the Hadassah hospital etc. What is imoral to chastise Jews for exercising their property rights.

39. settlers, jews, hebron
1000 settlers turn the lives of 200,000 arabs into hell? at the ratio of 200 people to 1, this is rich. One may expect that when one person is confronted with 200 people he has very little power to poison their lives. These claims sound eally fantastic to me, remember pogrom of 1929, Shalhevet Paz, a rabbi murdered in his Hebron home, a group of soldiers killed there... Oh yes, arabs will of course say - Baruch Goldstein! Then let's agree all of us - it's a tit-for-tat war, over the land ,over the right to be here, and in a war you must stand your ground, and defend your lines, strangely enogh that many Jews think they will win the peace by abandoning their frontline, sitting in their pub shelters in Tel-Aviv, why the IDF they so love to hate will protect their revelry. How can Jews abandon their right to Hebron, their frist capital?
Serbs are already driven out of Kosovo, the brithplace of the homeland, on the premises of international justice - has it brought any good? On the contrary - their homes, churches and monasteries are lotted and people killed by Albans, who regards this as their victory. Do you Jews want the same fate?

40. Excellent article. Bring the loonies home to Israel, now
The red cross (or lozenge) should be called in to repatriate my mentally unbalanced relatives from Hebron and give the necessary help to becoming functioning members of the Jewish State. As my son saw when serving in the army in Hebron last year, their behavior is beneath contempt and certainly does not match any Jewish standards known heretofore.
The sooner they turn their Messianic energies to useful activities, the better.
Hag samaach to one and all.

42. to # 2 & #4
The palis are the invaders and the occupiers. It is JEWISH land that they are trespassing on. Let them stop taking over the lands, religious sites and
places of worship of other religions.
I moved here from N.Y. and I own the Galilee along with my fellow Jews. No arab owns any part of Israel, except for the beduin, druze and circassians.

43. The only way to satisfy the adversaries is for the Jews
to stop being Jewish, turn Muslim and create another brutal Arab-type dictatorial regime where the foreigners, minorities and women are the second class citizens. Is that what the leftists want for Israel?

44. Settlers
From what I have experienced, the settlers in Hebron and elsewhere and extremely hateful people in general. They do not listen to their own G.D or the voice of reason. They attack young and old alike regardless of proper morals, which they seem to lack. Please go back to NY and Russia, G.D's land is not a place for such hethans.

Is that why you are passionately hating the Jews? Please tell your boyfriend to move to any of the 22 wonderful Arab states where corruption, hatred and violence are embedded into the fabric of Arab regime.

in the Americas, Australia or New Zealand as "settlers" or such definition only applies to the Jews who have joined their brethren in the land of Israel?

49. You are a self-hating Jew
The Jews of Hebron are among the bravest Jews in the world, are you are a self-hating slug. Why does Ynet allow your low self-esteem and love for our enemies to darken their paper?
