31. #27 You are so right. God promised alot more land.
Steve ,   USA   (04.09.07)
As you say, time will tell. Jews gave up Gaza to the terrorists. Israel expelled thousands of Jews from the Holy Land; from their homes and farms. At President George W. Bush's insistence, puppet prime ministers are dividing God's land. The same God that promised alot more land also sternly warned the nations and warned this Christian president (Mr. Bush) to not divide His land. But President Bush is obsessed with dividing God's land and establishing a Palestinian Muslim terrorist state. God warned that He would visit judgment on that nation (America?) or nations that divided the Holy Land. We both live in America; in the nation whose leader is dividing the Holy Land. Not good.
32. papa jay #28 We Jews do not illegally occupy
Steve ,   USA   (04.09.07)
another's property, nor do we occupy what is not rightfully ours any more than Americans illegally occupy. Am I not right? Yes, papa jay, I am right. We possess what belongs to us by right and by justice. Where do you live papa jay? And what about America? Does North America belong to us by right? What say you papa jay?
33. 20 Maybe you should do some more reading on the history
freedom ,   canada   (04.09.07)
of the region. Too much comes from the old PLO rhetoric. Squatting does not give anyone any rights, period. Although they do say that possession is nine tenths of the law. According to relevant previous history youre standing on a position of quicksand. You should study more on defensive war and reparations. Youll have a much clearer and accurate picture of world events. Any comments on the Darfur genocide?? Thanks in advance.
34. Arab peace plan
Yaakov ,   USA   (04.09.07)
I agree with this article totally. When Barak made his final offer to Arafat at Camp David, I got a terrible feeling in my 'kishkas'. True, it showed the world that Arafat and the so called Palestinian arabs were not interested in peace, but it also instilled in the world particularily in the arabs, how much Israel was willing to give up. All of the concessions Barak was making only became the new starting point, from which further concession were expected to be made by Israel. Any backtracking makes Israel look like the warmonger and the arabs appear as if they alone are serious about peace.
35. #28
yosef   (04.09.07)
I respect your opinion. You could ignore all the numbers and go straight to number 5 and say what would you do with the Jews? But first, let me tekk you that I do see the conflict in Palestinian eyes. They believe that the Jews are monkeys and pigs. Their religion says that the greatest thing they can do is kill themselves killing jews, like that arab mother (Reem Raiyshi) who was a suicide bomber. That is why they voted Hamas. I have nothing against these beliefs if it makes the Arabs happy. I just dont see where you want peace to come from and I would want Hani to be honest.
36. In The End, Israel Will Be Forced To Withdraw Fully
Fred Farkelsteinman ,   NY, NY USA   (04.10.07)
It is just a matter of time before Israel is forced to either withdraw fully to the 1967 lines in lieu of the right of return or choose the single state solution by annexing the entire West Bank and granting all those living there citizenship, which also means Israel will take financial responsibility itself for the mess it has created. One thing is for sure, the current occupation cannot be allowed to continue any longer and the injustice that Israel imposes upon the indigenous population of Palestine must end. So if any of you right wing radicals have any better others solutions that are not straight out of Mein Kampf, please do present them, but the current scenario is unacceptable.
37. Land for Peace
E ,   Canada   (04.10.07)
The arab states should also provide land for peace. Jews were sent into exile from many of the arab states. Give that land to the PALS, This would allow the Pals to have a muslim place to go. This one sided finger pointing is nuts. How many churches were destroyed in the arab states. Why should we trust you? Finally, these refugee camps is a pile of crap. A person born in Lebanon or Saudi Arabia, or some other muslim country should be a citizen there, no? Why do you muslim treat your people like they are second class people? Lebanon does not let these people work in certain jobs, does not provide them education or medical care. It's nuts
38. adam
eva ,   jerusalem   (04.10.07)
your cook is very old .offensive even if you pull it from a freezer // may be it is older than any freezer . i think it is older than the first adam on the earth // i believe it is nomore than illusion .if you like it /eat it alone you will be poisoned from your cooking ..medicin will not act in these day /stop the bad cook is better to israil /it will not work at all /as the palastinians are still palastinians in gaza and west bank and out of palastin // they are about the numbour of the jews all over the world // hay adam ..salam
39. roch from usa
rahma ,   jerusalem   (04.10.07)
we moslemes believe in what written in kuran .. god said that evry now and then god help bni israil .but evry now and then they do not obey god rule // the justice // so many or all of the moslems here in palastine know the roll of god in the israil initiation on our land palastin .. we believe in this fact more than the israilities themselves // as most of the israilities think it is their strength // but want this promis to make the right to agressive doing on the palastinians // and do you think that ruling the people by the power is god rule // so we will wait or our children or our grandsones to know that god love all the peoples not only the jews // and his rule is the justice not the power and the killing
40. right to survival
israel   (04.10.07)
the arabs and all islam blocked nearly all jewish escape from nazi occupied europe so objectively collaborated with nazism in genocide . extreme islam with many adherents is grossly anti-jewish . iran wants a secured jewish state to disappear .the iron wall is the only pragmatic policy .
41. Peace is only possible if Israel commits suicide
daniel   (04.10.07)
It's very simple, as long as Israel survives there won't be peace. Never. So if you really want peace, if you want to live in peace with your neighbours you have no other option but to kill yourselves. It saves everbody a lot of trouble, and you can finally have all the peace you want. You'll even get the Nobel Peace Price. Of course, there will be extremist Israeli's who prefer to live and cannot be convinced it's so much better for everyone that they die. Maybe the peace loving Jews who agree they should be dead, could kill them in the name of peace before they themselves are exterminated. Let's kill the Jews....for peace!
42. #41 Daniel is right
yosef   (04.10.07)
Sadly Daniel is right. The Arabs make it clear that by "land for peace" they mean no more Jews in the Middle East. This is well explained in "PalestineRemembered.com". Let's hear papajay (1), sara (5) , hana (12), hani (13), fahd(16), abd (20), yamna (30) and rahma (39) deny that what they mean something else. Not one of these luminaries can even bring himself/herself to hint that shooting 2-year old Merav Hatuel was not an act of heroism by brave Arabs. What the Arabs plan on doing is clear. The question is only what the Jews plan on doing.
43. The Saudi Danger
Ricardo Kolbe ,   Cologne - Germany/EU   (04.11.07)
What Mr. Elitzur really says in his 600-words-article is simply: Today, Medinat Israel does not want, does not need peace, not in 2002 and not in 2007.
44. yusef
