This article is interesting and very concerning, but omits two absolutely essential pieces of information. First, was the Unger family ever paid their awarded damages ($116 million)? Second, if not, is the unfreezing of these funds contingent on the completion of the payment of the award for damages? If neither is the case, this is an egregious miscarriage of justice which Rhode Island should rectify.

US courts are governed by rule of law, not passions. I hope one day the Jews and Palistinians who seek peace and equality will win over those who have too much pain to move forward.

I do love my country, but I see an ugly line appearing. I am neither liberal or conservative but vote closer to the truth which is conservative. I sense a trend in this country that the left wants to rid Israel as a friend. I know this is a big mistake as Israel is what has made the US great. I believe Israel needs to make its own choices, even if it is contrary to what the US wants. Israel needs to do whats best for Israel not the US. Stay true Israel and you will prosper contrary to the US's support.

This is the important point to me. If not - then this decision STINKS. Its not enough to say that the Pal authority is a separate entity from the 'monetary authority,blah,blah,blah That kind of rationale might work for us in our communities - but its not sensible or correct to apply it on the Pal situation. Hamas , not the victims - will end up with the money. We ALL KNOW IT.

we will never be elsewhere with or without the usa. the land of israel is a jewish land, belonging to the jews of the world and represents a democratic society and a beacon for jews around the world. without the usa, the palis will be nowhere, is more like it. at least israel has a striving economy, not built by usa, but by the sweat and work of many of the israelis despite the odds facing them on a daily basis....while the palis and many arab nations still hang around open palms for usa dollars. where is their economy. think what nations could have done with all the euro and us aid puring into arab lands.

No I am not mad. And you assume I am Jewish. But I do believe God blesses that nation which blesses Israel. Look up Numbers 24:9 I do not align myself with nations but with God. As long as the US stands by Israel the US will be great. But if we continue to slid away from Israel the US will decline.
