ABC ,   Israel   (04.10.07)
It is great that you didn't eat hametz and our beloved God stop this car from exploding and probably saving 100 odd people, that is great and thank you very much, you are really great. Our God is great isn't he? too bad he fell asleep during WW2 while the European gassed 6 millions, I say 6 MILLIONS of us, or during 2000-04 about a 1000 of us died while our fantastic God went into an afternoon nap, or during the past 2000 years when Jews weree the cannon fodder of the world, yes we have a fantastic God. Don't just avoid eating hametz in pesah, rh from Ashdod, maybe you should avoid eating food all togeter and see if our God will wake up from his/her slumber, if not at least you will go to meet him sooner and maybe wake him up. hag sameah
32. We Need To Eliminate Hamas.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (04.10.07)
Physically eliminate. Including Haniyeh & all the rest of the leadership.
33. First of all, remember to say "TODAH, THANK YOU!"
Roscio ,   Rome, Italy   (04.10.07)
I am not a fanatic, but this is obviously a case of Divine protection during Pesach. There have been many reports about the good people of Tel Aviv returning to Torah, of many adults studying in new Torah and Talmud classes, and of dancing in the streets to dedicate a new Torah scroll a few months ago. Also cleaning out the corrupt politicians is gaining momentum - this current government is no more than empty chametz. Keep up the good work, Israel... and when finally Olmert and Peretz leave (or are tossed out), things will be even better. Never forget to say Thanks to HaShem.
34. He got the i.d. due to family reunification!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.10.07)
How about not allowing arabs into Israel and getting Israeli citizenship? How about hitting the pali's gov't offices without warning? How about a lot of collateral damage? Let that be a warning to them. If we start to kill the terrorist prisoners first. We will get Gilad back. along with his kidnappers.

I wonder how many percent people of middle east LIVE BAD ? I think, we posters are not one of them. thats must be the reason we are TOO POOR TO GIVE A HELP FOR BETTER DAYS. all we care our nations. but, we all make terror.
38. Hamas???
David L.   (04.10.07)
Hamas might be terrorists, they still have strategic thinking. Right now, as they desperatly want the European countries to recognize their government, the last thing they would do is a suicide bombing! That's why I highly doubt that this cell was from Hamas per se. Maybe a splinter group, but it certainly did not receive order from central leadership in Gaza. How are we supposed to know they are from Hamas anyway? Did they have their "member card"?? It's not like in Gaza, where the organization is highly structured.
39. The truck turned back because there was too much Chometz in

40. "Terror attack foiled"
Steve ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.10.07)
Sad as it is, events such as this one make it clear that what some call "collective punishment" is a life saving necessity! Allowing freedom of movement to a population which includes large numbers of its members who are actively engaged in homicidal activities, or in suppoprt of such activities, is pure foolishness. During wartime, Canada, Great Britain, the US and many freedom loving countries imposed severe restrictions on their own citizens who hailed from "enemy" countries. An unpleasant reality , but would we rather put innocent lives at risk ?
41. to james from ohio sa #8-thank you very much for caring.

42. to james #8
another James from ,   ohio   (04.10.07)
a better way to end this James .. how about ending the occupation .. accept the peace initiative .. create two stetes with permanent borders . stop building the seperation wall aroung qalqilia (have you been there sir ) ... palestinians will never give up ..the ball in your court.
43. #38 - structured military and political wings on purpose
(04.10.07)
so that the political wing can say one thing to European nations without having the organization as a whole relinquish their extremist values because their 'military' wing takes care of the terror. Don't kid yourself. That's how the organization is structured everywhere, structured that way on purpose so that they can have their cake and eat it, too. and the naive westerners are the ones serving it to them
44. #42- anotherJames
SAM- real American ,   USA   (04.10.07)
I guess you have blinders on or something. You need to read a book. 75% of "Palistine was occupied since WW1. Its called JORDAN. READ A BOOK NUMBSKULL!!! The area that you are calling "Occupied" was taken over by Jordan and Egypt after the 1948 war. READ A BOOK NUMBSKULL!!!! The Palistinians had no problem being Jordanians or Egyptians for years. In essence there was no Palistinian identity until 1967. Israel recently pulled out of Gaza 100% with plans to do the same in the West Bank, It is obviouis that you either are ignorant of reality or are just a pure unaldulterated racist who just wants to believe in the racist way by backing Arab aggression. The Arab cause is a racist cause that has backfired. People still live in camps in "Palistine" after all these years. Arafat accumulated a personal wealth of $30 billion dallars AFTER he took care of his cronies. That is 10 years worth of aid to Israel. You buffoon. We've been had because the US also gives 100's of millions to the "Palistinians. ". Yet, they want to do very little for the people. They buy arms. They want to fight because thier "dogs" (as they called Jews for centuries) are so arrogant to think they are equal that it is a national shame to accept the fact that Jews are people with legitimate rights. That is why there is an Israel and no secular, Palistinian state. Arabs won't stand for a secular state. Take a good look at thier world, fool. If you are a racist (which is my guess), You helped create the state of Israel by your attitude. Or dont you get it yet? Arabs wont stop untill they totally anhilate the Jewish population and subjugate anything that remains of it. How would you like being a Dhimmi? God bless Israel.
45. Tell Hamas to save their truck bombs for Iraq
Ha Ha Hamas ,   USA   (04.10.07)
it's a lot easier to bomb other innocent Muslims nowadays, the Muslim fanatics' favorite passtime. Iraq should BEG the IDF to come over there and prevent THEIR terror attacks. IDF and Shin Bet RULE!
46. I doubt much of this story
Ben ,   USA   (04.10.07)
I really don't think this was Hamas that carried out these attacks. Israel is over exaggerating these claims to continue to justify its cruel and evil occupation of the Palestinians. It's odd that just as Hamas is gaining recognition from foreign powers, that they are suddenly "responsible" for a terrorist plot. Hamas has denied all responsibility for the attack. The attack was planned by a small group of people who were displeased with Hamas' continual moderation. Additionally, the 19 people arrested most likely had nothing to do with the actual planned bombings, but were simply attending a Hamas rally and were rounded up there. This is just another Israeli government exaggeration to avoid negotiating with Hamas so they can keep settling and occupying the West Bank.

" I really don't think this was Hamas that carried out these attacks. " I person that thinks and acted before for terrorist attacks and even got elected for it wouldn't do it eh? " Israel is over exaggerating these claims to continue to justify its cruel and evil occupation of the Palestinians. " If you honestly want a way for Israel to withdraw what is your suggestion? How is it possible for peace? if you say "Israel should withdraw" then you'er wasting my time. Thier is WAY MORE then just that. " It's odd that just as Hamas is gaining recognition from foreign powers, that they are suddenly "responsible" for a terrorist plot. " It's ALSO odd how Hamas charter declares for Israel to completly wipe out and for them to be "driven to the sea" Hamas IS responsible for Terror attacks in the past and beacuse he was elected and IS responsible for HIS own actions to destroy Israel then it's HIS fault " The attack was planned by a small group of people who were displeased with Hamas' continual moderation. Additionally, the 19 people arrested most likely had nothing to do with the actual planned bombings, but were simply attending a Hamas rally and were rounded up there. " the IDF forces arrested 19 Hamas members in the West Bank city of Qalqilya for planning to detonate a car bomb containing some 220 lbs of explosives. Hamas calls for Israel to be wipe off. Hamas supporters.. umm.. support that and is EVEN in his charter " This is just another Israeli government exaggeration to avoid negotiating with Hamas so they can keep settling and occupying the West Bank" Hamas has REFUSED , ben , for peace talks and living side an side in peace with Israel. Israel on the other hand has been TRYING to have some talks but are being REJECTED by the Hamas.
48. to Ben
Rachel ,   S. Africa   (04.10.07)
I sit here with my mouth open in utter amazement. Is it possible that there are such completely ignorant people in the "civilised" "educated" USA? You mean some of you REALLY believe this stuff like Ben does? Tell me, what planet are you from? I would have thought even a child would know by now who and what hamas is. What a rude awakening I've had!
49. Thank You G-d for this miracle

Hey ask Nancy Pelosi, she says that Syria is ready to talk peace. Yeah, and turtle sprouting wings and flying out of and airport tomorrow.

a better plan would be to develope the technology of a monitor where every israeli soldier will have to wear it under the skin. this can be done and in this way, this technology will afford the idf to know exactly wherfe the kidnapped ones are.
52. #51 - Technology
(04.11.07)
The technology exists, and it's microscopic, but the problem is that it's got a small range. You would have to get rather close to the chip to sense it - a hundred yards, maybe, I'm guessing. They use it in merchandise for store inventory use, and it's so invisible, you may not be aware it's in your clothes or objects you use.
53. The prisoners
David ,   Rhode Island   (04.19.07)
Give the Hamas prisoners to Fatah and give the Fatah prisoners to Hamas. Or... the prisoners could disappear and you could tell them that's what you did.
