The Jews of Khevron (like the "settlers" and Arutz7) are primarily proponents of the "Greater Israel" interpretation that sees the Iranian border as Israel's eastern border. Typical of their claim: "Greater Israel would comprise, roughly, all of modern-day Israel as well as the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, Jordan, and Lebanon, much of Syria, Iraq, and Kuwait, as well as parts of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey." No one can be surprised that Arabs bristle at this prospect. Contrary to the perception one would get from these talkbacks, predominated by the hyperbole of fanatics on both sides (with not even a passing interest in obtaining the facts involved), most Israelis view these fanatic "Greater Israel" proponents as fanatic delinquents and miscreants, sanctimoniously claiming Torah authorizes their perverse lawlessness. These fanatics are a blight on Israel, on Jews and khilul ha-Sheim. Authorities typically ignore inciters and instigators of both sides, avoiding dealing with "problems" in the futile hope "Yiheyeh be-seder," thereby inciting increased Arab terrorism and promulgating increasing cycles of lawlessness and anarchy by both sides. There will not be peace in Khevron until Arabs and Jews both receive equal treatment and remedy under the law. Residents of Khevron must be able to live and work in a lawful environment, whether they are Arab or Jew. Criminal assault -- of the kinds recently seen in videos -- cannot be defended on the basis that the attacker is a Jew and everything is fair for a Jew because it's all Jewish land. It isn't ALL Jewish land! When Torah gives land to sons of Avraham, that includes Arabs as well as Jews. Delineating the land given to Israel requires denying the "Greater Israel" fanatics and turning to more circumspect, less greedy, analysis of Torah. It's neither easy nor simple, but there's no alternative -- to satisfy Torah or achieve peace and the prophesies of Torah. Most who claim to be for peace are either on an Islamic payroll or they are a misojudaic; in either case having the real objective of eliminating Israel and Jews from the Mideast. Yet, those who really are interested in peace must become actively engaged in insisting on the equal application of the law for both Arabs and Jews at all friction points between the two peoples. It's the only way the two peoples can ever live in proximity (not together), which we must, without perpetual bloodshed for all.

Have any of you been there ?!?! its IMPOSIBLE that 1 milion $ was puit into the house!! There is no infastructure, water, electricity, pipes, toilets.... everything there now was hooked up be us settlers. The stair cases are cement slabs, there are no ralings on either the stairs or the upper floors. There is no tiling on any of the floors, windows, wall plaster etc... No, the house is a shell, its a piece of junk, other than the initial skeleton frame, no other money was put in.
