That is all what one can feel reading this. There is plenty off money here,it is just that it gets missappropiated and ends up in the pockets off our government officials. If peres would not travel lets say for 6 months that would save hundreds off thousands shekels. And if all the minister without portofolio would get kicked out that would save millions more and the list goes on and on. Makes the whole hashoah day hypocrit and useless. If we can not even take care off these people. It also shows how heartless and lacking off soul the state has become,shame on us.

Tsunami in Thailand. Earthquake in Turkey. We are always the first to rush in and lend a hand. But what about our own flesh and blood. How can we justify helping others abroad when there is hunger, poverty and want here in Israel. Maybe the public relations is sexier when an Israeli soldier digs out a survivor in a Turkish earthquake. The public relations is better when we bring in give free medical aid to child from Jordan. But are good deeds only measured by the impact of their headlines. It has been to easy to marginalize the elderly. We must remember them and give them their due, lest we ourselves are forgotten when we are elderly.

Can anybody explain to me what is a "Holocaust survivor" in Israel ? A former concentration camp or ghetto inmate ? Certainly not, since there could not be 260 000 of them in Israel now, 62 years aferter WW2. Are they just people who were alive in Europe during WW2, including Soviet Jews ? Then the whole affair is quite different. They would be USSR survivors as well as Holocaust survivors. Please, facts, figures, details, qualifications. Thank you.

The "holocaust" industry has been milking all of Europe for 60 years. Where is all this money? The con game can't go on forever.

All the money, the MILLIONS contributed yearly for this or that Holocaust memorial - for education, concerts etc., for Holocaust funds administrators to attend another meeting or conference around the world. And all the while elderly survivors with tattooed arms are going hungry - in Israel? This is a national disgrace.! I blame the grubbers who want to turn the burning of Jews into an cash cow. Stop the exorbinant salaries. Stop the huge per diems. If you want to help people make the sacrifice. You don't have to travel first class and eat in four star hotels and restaurants. As a matter of fact, we don't need ANOTHER Holocaust memorial. We need to educate our people to the next Holocaust, the one the muslims promise us from the front page of their newspapers. Something Hitler never did...

I want to know what has the goverments done with all the milions of dollars that were supposed to go to the survivors and their families from either the Swiss bank accounts, german g-ment or Israeli g-ment???? why has this money not gone to these survivors?
