Nor should the Jewish State commit suicide - we have a collective right to self-defense, to ensure our survival, & to protect ourselves from those that use democratic rhetoric to undermine our existence. Theoretical discussions of civil rights should not blind us to the threats facing us. The real question is if we can use un-democratic means to protect our own democracy.
