Shame upon Hod Hasharon local council decision to prevent reform Rabbi Micky Boyden of participating in the National Day of Mourning’s official prayer ceremony for its fallen soldiers. As reported the council reached this decision after a threat of its orthodox members to disrupt this ceremony. No excuse can be found for such a threat nor for Hod Hasharon council decision and even less understandable the inaction of Yad Lebanim, the National Authority to guard these graves, to prevent such a horrible differentiation. - Rabbi Boyden is the father of soldier Jonathan Boyden who buried in this cemetery since 1993 when he was killed in Lebanon. National government has to step in to undo this inhuman decision of Hod Hasharon local council because it soils the memory of all fallen Israel’s soldiers.
