Jesus made a clear delineation between the role of the state and the role of religion in a Christian's life - a delineation most Christians in the US adhere to. Having said that, most Americans, regardless of religious affiliation ,believe Judeo-Christian values should inform policies, particularly social policies. So even your speculation is wrong. Surely in an Israeli news site regarding an Iranian issue you can come up with a better post than a speculative US scenario. Try the issue at hand.
