Livni sparks political controversy    Amnon Meranda
1. Who is the most destructive?????
OK. Lets be serious now. A poll/vote is necessary. Who is the worst most destructive political a__hole that burdens Israel: a-Olmert b-Peretz c-Livni d-All of the above e-All of Kadima Your response is sought and happily solicited.
Gideon Reader ,   Fort Lauderdale,Fl.   (05.12.07)
2. Even the Left can see straight, Tzip,,STEP DOWN CLOWN
You're making EVERY Jew nauseous. We are sick of your insane experiments. We hate how you prefer to appease "the world" and sacrifice your own brothers and sisters for personal international recognition. What are you looking for? A Nobel Peace Prize just like the one Arafat got? A kiss on the cheek by Chirac? To kneel and kiss the hand of the Pope? A hug and kiss from Condi? An audience with Cindy Sheehan? A letter of thanks from Ahmadinejad and Nasrallah? YOU MAKE US SICK TO OUR STOMACHS!!!!!

3. Well, Olmert, we give you credit for keeping Livni
She's still in the limelight now, and will leave no doubts, even among her admirers, of how unsuitable she is for any government job. Yep, she went too far, alright, and she's less of a threat to Olmert or anyone else now. Her political future doesn't look good. Livni, start updating your resume. Your days are numbered. Like those of Peretz, Olmert and the whole bunch of incompetents in the cabinet. Israel needs new elections now.

5. YOU GET THE GOVT YOU DESERVE
ANSWER: E I used to hate Olmert and Co. with a fiery passion. After months of watching their incompetence and destructive policies, my anger has shifted to the Israeli people. First, the disengagement in Gaza. Then the daily barrage of Kassams. Then the abandonment of the people of Sderot as it becomes a ghost town. Then the massive arms buildup in Gaza and West Bank, the presence of IRG and Hezbollah members, another recent attempted kidnapping, Hezbollah rearms in Lebanon and of course the Winograd Report. Through all this, Olmert & Co. fail to act--they don't send the IDF in to clear out Gaza before they launch their next major offensive on Israel, don't enforce Resolution 1701. As if this is not enough, Livni wants to disengage again??? It is now on the Israeli people. They know what their government is all about, having witnessed the enactment of one suicidal policy after another. Yet, they do nothing. One major TA protest and thats it. The Israelis are the only ones with the power to eliminate its worst enemies--its own government.

7. real agreement
1967 line ..east Jerusalem ..Golan heights ...comprehensive family reunification Plan ..that is a real agreement for real peace .. building 20,000 units in east jerusalem is a criminal act ..and our people in palestine will punish you soon i hope ..or we will ... both sides are critisizing her ....means you are all the same ..

9. Livni : So where are the kidnapped soldiers ?
ben ,   singapore   (05.13.07)
10. Livni's comments not helpful
Livni is just stating the obvious. If Israelis agree to a 2 state solution then there has to be territory for a Palestinian state. But why stir the pot with unnecessary statements on withdrawal that just rile up Jews, if Arabs show no acceptance of a Jewish-majority state. It's not good for Jewish unity.

12. #1 Gideon's poll - Too short!
I would vote for e. except that there are more destructive forces at work in Israel. Let's see now: There's the whole Knesset, sitting there, doing nothing good, watching the country go down the tubes. Next, the Americans in cahoots with the Saudis. They don't mean well those people. They have control of the spineless Israeli government and therefore of the country's fate. Next the EU and the UN. They have made their bad intentions clear. Not as clear as the PA, of course, where there's no difference between "moderates" and "radicals". They have only one objective in common: to throw the Jews out of the ME. Then there's the leftist media, at home and abroad, being unhelpful at best, and taking the enemy's side at worst. Then there's the Arab-loving Left and peace groups in the pay of the Eurabians. Then there's the fifth column. It's too depressing to continue. But, don't lose hope. I believe there is a silent majority who love the land and will protect it. They have seen where the Left was leading them and won't vote for them again. There are those who stay put in Judea and Samaria in spite of being surrounded by hostile neighbors. And the residents of Sderot bravely surviving daily rocket attacks. And those who march on Homesh and won't give up on the land. And the brave soldiers who risk their lives daily. And so many others. There are lots of heroes in Israel and they will win against all the destructive forces in the end.

13. I admire Livni
I admire her for having the courage to say what needs to be said. The recent poll shows most Israelis would make concessions on Jerusalem and that is huge and says a lot that the possibility for peace is far from over. So those who support it like Livni need to simply rise about the extremists on both sides and push for peace. It ain't easy but said it would be? Ray Hanania www.hanania.com

14. Just wondering why you dislike the people who talk in a
realistic way. the whole world knows and even rules on the issue a long time ago. if you guys think she talked wrong then you are saying you disagree with the whole world. or you see different thing then every signle human even kids knows. What i can add is it has to be done through mutual agreement and help of the international community. to be done in a global aproch not a partialy one with the following: 1- Who viloate the signed deal with have the international community deal with and even the citizen they rule on. that's it no more to talk about. and good luck

15. Madam livni should not resign, she should be fired!
Guy   (05.13.07)
16. #13, of course Palestinians like her. That's just it.
She appears not to be working for the Jews but for the Arabs. There seems to be more and more evidence of that. And the same for the whole Kadima and the Lefties of Israel. No wonder you like her.
Joel ,   NY   (05.13.07)
17. livni sparks
doubtful if livni can spark anything. she lacks any personality and courage to move a stone an inch. RESIGN!
sas ,   israel   (05.13.07)
18. Livni, "We will withdraw as far as Mediteranian for peace."
No strategy, no tactics, no common sense, no pride, no honor, no integrity and no brains. The woman is a loose canon. She and the rest of Israeli government should resign and move out of country. That includes most of the MKs as well. It's time for new blood in government. People who understand our security needs and have some sense of honor, duty and integrity. It appears we are lost.....
