61. Radio Interview

There is a May 15 radio interview of Shlomo Wallins, editor of Israel Reporter.com, by Tovia Singer on Israel National News, only hours after Wallins experienced the rocket attack. It is worth listening.

For those who haven't visited this website yet, there is a very sobering essay by Shlomo Wollins where he foresees the future history of Israel if the Israeli people do not wake up on time to stop the present slide into self-destruction. This is a Must Read commentary.

You will continue to wallow in the crap of your own making, believe me.

stop providing targeting information to the terrorists! why, after every qassam barrage, does the israeli media provide details of exact locations, which can only help the terrorists with their aiming? who else needs or wants to know?
65. Eric (59) who's on the side of logic

Hey Eric. I hope you'll admit that I am a logical fellow myself. I agree with you that Israel does need "to try something new regarding [its] wars" and that "the real problem in Israel is that [Israelis] sit around and point fingers at each other." May I suggest something truly new? How about pro-active Jewish territorial expansion & annexation of Yesha and Jerusalem, coupled with a plan for "disengagement" of the "Palestinians" from Eretz Israel? Now THAT would qualify as new. It would also not pit Jew against Jew, which is exactly what Sharon's Disengagement did and what ilmert & parrots continue to do now. Seriously, Eric, I do not have to mention Hashem, nor am I motivated by Torah mitzvot.

It's the only one with courage and vision. And you know what? There would be a lot of noise from everywhere, the West and the Arabs and all the others. But after a few years, 5 or 10 years, it would be an established fact, just like plenty of other geopolitical facts in the world. With one big difference: this would not be an ordinary annexation, but the reclaiming of Jewish land.
67. Why thank you, Otter
sk ,   USA   (05.20.07)
You are, of course, completely right about the reclaiming of Jewish land. It is Jewish not "only" because the Bible says so, but because of the Mandate, the fact the Arabs illegally violated law by several unprovoked wars & innumerable jihadist attacks, and because of decades of earnest Israeli-led piss processing that have led nowhere but to missiles on Sderot, Ashkelon, and even Haifa. There will indeed be a lot of noise, but we all know that "the world" will put up with anything, including genocide of Christians in Dharfur. Frankly, as nobody of consequence gives a damn about the Pals, I'm not even sure long the noise will last. Israel is attacked most ferociously, it seems, when it is being indecisive and self-flagellating. Note that when Israel re-entered Judea and Samaria full-force, the screaming soon died down completely, and now no one remembers that it even happened (and this was under Bush).

I wish more people would see it that way. You are completely right. I'm not an expert but it seems to me that the greatest obstacle to Israel's security and its very existence right now is not the Arabs but its very own government. I am yet to be convinced that Olmert is even in charge. The one in charge seems to be the inept Bush, with his ties to the Saudis and a track record of failure in the ME. It is frightening how they are forcing Israel to accept deals that go completely against its security and threaten its existence. By restraining the IDF, they are breaking the people spirit. It hurts to watch how the government makes just a pathetic show of responding to rocket attacks while people suffer and are forced to abandon their homes. By being so afraid of losing the "support" of the US, Israelis are relinquishing their power to run their own country and losing Israel in the process anyway, one Jewish town at the time.
