As #1 says, Idaho has more than a few Aryan training camps. Why is there an Anne Frank statue there? Do they know who she is? ....Perhaps the statue is an answer to the "campers."

Is one of the truly great things about america. Freedom of religeon, speech assembly dare i say press. Speech isnt the problem hate is the problem. I don't understand what you mean! You should be elated that there is a statue of Anne Frank all the way in the remote places of America like Idaho. You should be rejoicing that Anne Frank's wonderful legacy has reached to all the corners of the earth and that people want to honor such a brave, young, Jewish woman. As an American myself I know that the majority of americans,Jew and Gentile have nothing but respect for Anne Frank. Her diary has brought the Holocaust to life for millions of American School children who have been required to read it. So instead of asking why is there a statue of Anne Frank in Idaho; celebrate it.
