1. The cost of aggression
Alex ,   San Francisco, US   (05.27.07)
Palestinians are enjoying an unprecedented situation. No mater what they do - suicide bombing, rocket attacks, other acts of terror, there is no cost to them in terms of overall settlement. The only way to win this battle is to impose such a cost. Every year you continue the terrorist attacks, the eventual size of the palestinian state should shrink. From that point of view, the settlements, far from being "an obstacle to peace", actually encourage them to come to the negotiation table. If palestinians are able to wage war on Israel for an eternity and then negotiate for the same '48 borders, why would they ever stop??
2. Fight President Bush
Marcel ,   Florida   (05.27.07)
The real power behinf Israel's disengagement wil not permit a return to Homesh. You must demand that this president stop trampling Israel's sovereignty and end his failed road map scheme of rewarding Islamic terrorism at Israel's expense. Youy have been silent for too long This is bigger than just the puppet Olmert, you have to address the pone who pulls his stgrings. Are you too small a people to stand up to this devious meddler who brings neither peace or security with his failed plan? You must have a greater vision than just Homesh. RETURN TO GUSH KATIF,NEVE DEKALIM AMONA,HOMESH
3. Way to Go !!! Rock ON BROTHERS & SISTERS !!!

4. Too little
Andras Bereny ,   Kfar Tapuah, Shomron   (05.28.07)
Too little too late. We Want Our State Non Secular - NOW!
5. Peace for Land
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (05.28.07)
The leftists had it backwards all along.
6. Neither the US nor Olmert could stop a return to Homesh
Tracy W   (05.28.07)
if enough people support it. Israel needs a massive movement for the return to Homesh and the retaking of Gaza. Israelis cannot allow Gaza to continue festering within sight of Israel. The area must be cleared out. If the entire resettlement of its population is not possible at this time, at least there should be a buffer zone wide enough to stop the aggression.
7. Palestinian Migration
Tracy W   (05.28.07)
Many Palestinians are not interested in either the internal fight nor in the endless aggression against Israel and would much rather settle in a more peaceful country. Something must be done to pressure Arab countries to allow the migration and integration of Palestinians. Western countries, or at least the US, should place a moratorium on all inmigration from Arab and Muslim countries into Western countries until they, in turn, open their doors to Palestinians.
8. Appeasement will never work
Kerry L. Winn ,   Las Vegas, USA   (05.28.07)
Yes, and drive the Israeli Arab fifth column from your land!
9. Qassams and settlements
Sam ,   Canada   (05.28.07)
Nothing bothers the Palestinian militants more than seeing Israeli Jews. So, for every qassam there should be a new settlement. But the settlements should not be set up in what appears to be a helter skelter way. They should be created in a manner that suits the interests of Israel.
10. The Settler Movement defines our hopes.
LEE ,   NY, USA   (05.28.07)
They are the future of Israel. They are the only ones left who truly have courage. They will lead our people to victory. They will decide the future of the state. They are the living redemption. From them will come the Anointed Leader Through them will come ultimate victory. Through them, peace will be achieved. Kol Hakavod to the Faithful of the Land. Broochim tihiyoo!
11. The only answer to IslamoNazism
Joel K ,   SD, USA   (05.28.07)
The only answer to IslamoNazism is to annex Gaza, Judea/Samaria and the Golan. After the official annexing ,the world in concert with Israel, will identify nations to accept "palestinians"(Arab or otherwise) . Money benefits, etc. will be offered to willing countries to encourage their acceptance of "palestinians". The next stage will be to offer financial incentives to the "palestians" of Gaza, etc. to pack up and move to those nations who will accept them. To date, the decent and peaceful "palestinians" are lining up get out Gaza, etc. Those would refuse the offer to relocate will more than likely be IslamoNazis terrorists, whose goal is one state, Palestine, with no Israel. These leftovers can be dealt with militarily, like Lebanon is doing right now. Once the "palestinians" are gone from Gaza, etc., the rocket attacks will stop and Israel can hope to achieve a measure of peace, greater than what they got from Olso, Road mapping, Peace Now concessions, and from the Con Rice/Bushies. Another benefit- once the "palestinians" are no longer a "humanitarian" issue the Arabs and their UN will have to re-tool to become respectable, non-antisemitic and civilized entitities. Two states is a delusion that has never got off the ground, and never will, unless we want another terror state in the Middle East-- full of Al Queda, Iranian terrorists, Hizbollah, etc.
12. Principles of Van Clausowitz
Joseph Kaufman ,   Sunnyvale/Jerusalem   (05.28.07)
He who controls the ground, controls the outcome. We must NEVER cede Judea and Sumeria if we are to live as a free people. I don't know the shape of a future accomodation with moderates if they exist. Therefore, we must control the ground.
13. They are absolutely right!
Keren ,   SP-Israel   (05.28.07)
Not only was an estrategic mistake making such evil disangagements-an insanity,a madness-but as well because there is located our origins. Our patriarchs are buried there,in that area;our history is there;so many events of ours happened there;our Soul is there! We must be there!
14. Homesh is outside the range of Qassams !
(05.28.07)
speed up ! You have a time window of only a few months.
15. we should go forward, not back
(05.28.07)
Going back is certainly not the answer. We should not have been there in the first place, we should have created a palestinian state back in 1967.... But crying over spilled milk will not bring it back. Assuring a good life to the Palestinians with hope to a future is the only possible way to build a future for both nations. We cannot do it alone. We need help and involvement from other nations to build a good infrastructure in palestine, create jobs and give the peole there a hope for a future. And we need a real military force to assure that the rockets stop.
16. #15 - You're talking about creating a country
Judy Y ,   USA   (05.28.07)
not from scratch. That would be easy. But from a fatal mixture of corruption, violence, fanaticism, distorted educational system, and ideologies that do not - absolutely do not - mesh with principles of democracy, personal freedom and tolerance. Your comments are well intentioned, so I'm sorry to be so blunt. But that's the truth, there for all of us, Jews and non-Jews, to see. A real solution would be one that has been fought off by Arabs for decades now, because you have been used by them as pawns. It would be to facilitate your integration into Arab societies already established. The poisonous concentration of hatred that is killing Gaza needs to be eliminated first by allowing the peaceful Palestinians to find a better future elsewhere. I don't know your personal circumstances, but if you're young and raising children, you must know that there is no chance at all for them to have a good life where you are right now, even if those ideas you list were to be implemented. There is too much lawlessness, too much greed, too much hatred among your many leaders for a normal society and a normal country to develop.
