1. Inaccurate article ! Untruths
(05.28.07)
One wonders about this kind of article ! Whether it was written by a rookie, by error or by intention - for whatever reason. Barak never threatened to take the party out of the coalition but said that he would join it and later, try to overthrow it. Barak would support the Olmert junta for his own political gain.
2. AYALON IS A DANGEROUS MAN WHO SUPPORTS SAUDI PLAN

4. Good for Labor, good for Peretz, bad for Israel
Sidney ,   USA   (05.29.07)
Israel now faces a nightmare scenario, Peretz can offer his support to either front-runner in exchange for the finance ministry. That person will be in a position to demand this and the defense ministry from Olmert with the threat of bringing down Olmert's government if refused. Although polls show that the public has no use for the Labor Party, it will control the two most important ministries in the government. Poor Israel!
5. What's the percentage of Arab voters in Labor? Thanks.
Baffled   (05.29.07)
6. Olmert please dont resign
zionist forever   (05.29.07)
Now is the time to hold your ground if you dont resign labour will withdraw from the coalition and without them the whole government will colapse and new ellections needed hopfully giving your job to Natayahu. A change from the liberal left who have been causing disaster after disaster the right wing need a chance to show what they can do.
7. the thought of Olmert & Barak makes me physically ill
aaron ,   ra'anana   (05.29.07)
perhaps Yossi Beilin can join the coalition also and then we can truly bury zionism.
8. Resurrection of political cadaver
Caroline ,   Israel   (05.29.07)
The results of the primaries witness that we live the historical moments of Barak's political cadaver's resurrection. A few months ago who could even think that this failed politician would aspire to power and fame again? But he is back here and that many have already forgotten the damage he made to this country during his short rule. "New Barak" has nothing different from the old one. The only lesson he learned from his past experience is that he does not talk much which apparently leaves his supporters in the clouds of their wishful thinking. The Labour party is a wreck and looks much as a snakes' nest. Still they all aspire to the highest positions. Is people of Israel that dumb to let them go ahead? Hopefully not. It must be personal interest which pushed the Labour party members to vote for the resurrected limping horse, but not what the people of Israel will decide one day. We have to be cautious and not let corrupted or overegoed people to usurp power again.
9. Barak-Peretz meeting
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (05.29.07)
Peretz can not opt for an opposition alternative as Ayalon can. That`s the reason of the Barak-Peretz meeting. In the meantime, does anyone remember Winograd ?
