the part about the mahdi is old news. but maybe someone could break the news to mr. ahmadinejad that the prophesy does not speak of moslems battling non-moslems, but of a battle between good and evil, and it is hard to imagine a greater "evil" than a nation deliberately trying to destroy the world, for any purpose. if the prophesy were to be fulfilled, and it turns out that the evil ones were the mullahs, and the "righteous" were the westerners that they sought to destroy, mr. ahmadinejad will have a lot of apologizing to do!
