31. #29 Shavua Tov
You said it ALL. Brilliant. Thank you. Maybe you can guess what the next lot of drivel will be about. Maybe, the cruel ashkenazim who made a 'blessing the new month' kiddush this morning in shul ignored her, or make their weddings and don't invite her. Maybe dress boutiques in bnei brak dont welcome her in the same they their welcome their ashkenazi 'sisters'. They weren't nice to sfardi kids at the separate swimming pool on Friday? Nu, what a choice. I should get commission.

32. Engineering, Israel, and society
Kyle - if I were interviewing you for a job (I'm a licensed professional engineer) I would probably file your job application under "G".
Engineers have an obligation to society at large (see www.niee.org), and if you don't study Engineering ethics you'll probably encounter a rough time if you make it to a professional career.
Or maybe you'll get mugged next time you're visiting Israel by one of the youth you feel society doesn't have to take care of.
You claim to be ex-haredi, but wow, somewhere along the line you certainly missed out on a Jewish education. Engineering is one thing, but the world built on three other pillars.
Not bleeding hear, not liberal. Yes, Kyle, engineers must do gemilut chasadim.

33. JPS Threatens Kyle
Read your own TB and then ask yourself what kind of
"tikkun olam" you are making with your threats of violence against Kyle. So you hope Kyle gets mugged visiting Israel. You must be proud of your oh so superior virtues.

34. So Kyle, can we count on you?
Are you going to be concerned about those in society who have less? Are you going to not help, but at a bare minimum show some concern and compassion for the kids whose families did indeed throw them out?
Or are you still sticking with your post #12, ignoring all the talkbacks from those obviously religious posters who have confirmed Tali's storyline?
You accused her of lying, yet many people here have confirmed what she says as the truth. Do you really believe this simply does not exist?
Stick with the issue at hand, Kyle, and you'll be a better engineer. Let's see your final posting on how YOU would handle the problem of street youth.

35. I'll count on Kyle, even 'over there'
'cos he's REAL, and doesn't get paid by ynet for dripping slowly but very surely and carefully, fake and lip glossed observations. He, like all of us has failings, I'm sure BUT he's not a fake. Strange isn't it, that no one has ever hinted or suggested or JUST FELT that he's a fake, whereas...?
|
|
36. So Tal...
From your tb are we to assume that you also don't believe Tali's article and you think that there is no homeless youth problem that she describes? Are you calling Tali Farkash a liar too?
|
|
37. A liar 'too'?
2??? Who's liar number 1?
Phoney pheeling of phake person and articles, reeking of self righteousness, just don't do it for me, sorry. That's all. You go ahead and enjoy tho'. I'll stick with Rifka Lubich types. Whether I agree with them or not, at least they are 'real' and their views are 'real'. No 'aren't I a sweetie ' (no, sadly , you're not) two thousand dollar act there.

38. #36 Dont disturb me
while I real my novel friday night before hubby comes home from shul, nor during the week while Im dreaming of the mechanic I met on my yom haatzmaut(!!!) picnic, while you guys from efrat were trampling on the daffodils.
|
|
39. Ok, I won't disturb you
I guess you're disturbed enough already.
You have fun with your mechanic and I'll try to figure out where the heck those daffodils might have been...

40. #39 All figments of your fictious friend's
weird imagination.Dont let him/herfind out that you don't remember his/ her previous fairy stories, the ones whose sole aim, most of the time is to trash chareidi ashkenazim, as he /she may make a story out of mean white guys from efrat who are not nice people. Occasionally he/she throws in something different on realizing, by the talkbacks that his/her hate agenda is too obvious. But then the willo'the wisp reverts back to the main theme of ashkenazi chareidi resentment ( jealousy?). I wonder where it stems from. ...na, couldn't be ynet...maybe a marriage problem, who knows..Sfardi ahkenazi marriages can have identity problems and writing may be a recommended therapy . But blame the ahkenazim/chassidim, it works evey time..for ynet.

41. Unbelievable deja vu
The talkbacks in the Barak report this morning are superb, in complete contrast to the news item itself. EXACTLY the same scenario as with this 'person's' column. Just amazing.

42. In hebrew ynet she/he is going on about
a half naked lady in a tel aviv(!!!) cafe.Go back to Bnei Brak darling and have badatz coffee there. Some of the sfardi (gotcha Tal tul!) girls way of dressing there really IS the pits. 'JennifEnniston 'style (but DARK!) wigs with lycra spaghetti straps or strapless cheap clingfilm dresses, all with a long sleeve( ho ho ho) lycra tee shirt underneath. They look like transvestites. At least the tel aviv 'frecha' isn't a hypocrite.

44. I'm sure that HORDES of ynetters
recognised this 'person' by the ad nauseum over exposure photos in ynet, and came clamouring over pleading for autographs and mobile fone pictures... while the 'person' was sitting prominently in the KOSHER cafe ( I always find it quite hard to find one that's closed Shabbat!!! Good for you Taltul) LOL of course.

45. P.S I was in Gan Ha'ir two days ago
That's a fairly popular haunt of the $2000+, custom mad(e) wig wearers. I neither noticed a 'frecha', nor anyone looking like that photo of 'you'. How sad if I missed you.
