Why should I Care about these settlers! they can take care of themselves! I pity them... They think that we would offer them money or shelter.... They are a shame on us and have always made israel look as a rogue state bc of their crazy acts!
5. Stupid taxi driver!!
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (06.08.07)
He can't be inconvenienced for a little while??? The people of Sderot are being incnvenienced EVERY DAY!!! I applaud those students who went to Tel Aviv!!! They should be there every day and sound that alarm!! Let the people of Tel Aviv experience that awful feeling in the pit of their stomach!! Just beware! Hizbullah now has rockets that can hit Tel Aviv!! And don't forget about Achmajinedad!!
6. #4 - How can you use such words to refer to fellow Jews
Michelle ,   Vancouver, Canada   (06.08.07)
who love the land, respect it, and who respect themselves. With the whole world against you, how can you turn against your own people, and with words such as "shame", "crazy" "rogue". You won't gain any points with the Goyim for playing their game, I can assure you. Judea and Samaria is your land too, Telavivian, and that of your descendants. What is truly shameful is to express hatred for peaceful, hardworking, G-d loving Yesha people, while saving all your compassion for those who want to destroy you.
7. TO #4 STOP YOUR BS YOU MUST BE AN ISREAL ARAB.
TOM BENEZ ,   TX,USA   (06.08.07)
8. #4 - Sderot is NOT a settlement
(06.08.07)
Sderot is as legitimate at Tel-Aviv, if not more. It's not beyond the green line. Hamas bombs them from Gaza regardless of that fact.
9. to #4 you ignoramus
Amit ,   USA   (06.08.07)
Sderot is not a settlement, it is in Israel proper! May Israel remain strong and safe with a gov't to help achieve this in the near future. Shabbat Shalom
10. Tel-Avivians more concerned about croussants that Qassams
malcolm   (06.08.07)
TA is the power base for Kadimah. As long as Tel-Avivians can tap out stock trades on their wireless laptops while scarfing down croissants at their favorite cafe....All is WELL in Israel.
11. stand together

Forgive me fellow Jews.... But you just don't know these ppl.... they just want to use and abuse others and use the fact that we are sensitive in order to symapthize with them and afford them some bucks... They want Gaydamack to pay them some bucks here and there... I want these ppl out of Tel-Aviv. We leave in peace w/out them. These ppl were paid to stay in front and now they 're compaining about it! OMG!
13. #12 - Tel Aviv - You are wrong
Michelle ,   Vancouver   (06.09.07)
People who want to get rich do other things, like becoming politicians, for example. No, the Sderot people, like the Judea and Samaria people, who you probably hate as well, live lives of hardship, under constant harassment and with limited funds. They live there because they love the land of Israel and want to make it flourish for themselves and also for the rest of you, Telavivians included. They are not out to get rich. Do not add insult to injury. There is no money enough in the world to compensate for the hardships the residents of Sderot are going through.
14. to #12 Tel-Avivian
Amit ,   USA   (06.09.07)
And olim chadashim receive various monetary benefits for moving to Israel. Does that mean that if they live in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem than they should remain quiet if attacked by terrorists G-d forbid since Israel is a "front-line" in comparison to Long Island? Of course not. correct yourself Tel-Avivian before you and your kind do more damage to our society and existence.
15. I am confused and in need of help
The confused ,   Tel-Aviv   (06.09.07)
Can anyone explain to me what exactly they are trying to achieve? do to they want Tel-Aviv residents to cry for them? donate money? leave tel-aviv and move to Sderot? I dont understand!
16. #15 Telavivian - They want you to care enough to
Carl ,   Indianapolis, USA   (06.09.07)
demand that the inept Olmert government do its job to protect ALL Israeli citizens. That's all. They don't want money or tears. They just want you to have enough awareness, enough decency to demand that your government do its job. It is your duty as citizen, anyway, to keep your government accountable.
17. to carl
adam ,   israel   (06.09.07)
i agree that there is a tel aviv bubble and its as if the rest of israel doesnt exist. but none the less, there is only so much the tel aviv residents can do. was only a month or s0 ago there was a 150,000 people protest in tel aviv for olmert to step down. until the labor, israel betainu and other coalition parties stop being selfish and pull from the government and force new elections, we are stuck with this crappy government
18. I'm confused, is Tel Aviv in Israel???
Maotz ,   Dayton,OH USA   (06.09.07)
19. Move the Knesset to Sderot
Ima Bleever ,   Anytown USA   (06.10.07)
Only then will the bombings stop. If that idiot YoMama Bin Hiding had bombed the IRS (tax) and UN buildings in my country, he'd be a national hero right now. I mean his damn feet would never touch the ground because we'd be forever carrying him on our shoulders. "Gee, that's too bad about all those people. But, oh well." Had he bombed our Senate building and killed all of those drugged-out, thieving criminal-wannabees, he'd have scared a lot of people who foolishly put their faith in human leaders instead of God. But eventually, people would have come to the correct conclusion, "Oh, well. We can always elect some more." Picture a session of the Knesset meeting in a grass hut in Sderot. Picture a Qassam landing in the middle of them. Would it really be a loss for Israel? Or would your people come to the right conclusion and say, "Oh, well. We can always elect some more"? Tel Aviv can be cavalier with other people's lives because it all seems so far away, and "Well, they are just asking for it, living out in the wilderness." The solution is to temporarily REQUIRE your unconcerned/cowardly leaders to meet in Sderot under a tent until EVERY Israeli citizen is safe... not just the elistist jerks who run things from Tel Aviv. When it's their rears on the line, things will change... immediately. Also, if it's okay or legal or not an "international incident" for Gazans to bomb Sderot (when both are cities not countries) then why would the world care if Sderot bombed Gaza (as a city not as a country)? As the Tel Avivans are quick to point out, Sderot isn't Israel. So how can Israel be held responsible? Maybe the mayor of Sderot would do some jail time, but big deal. I'll just bet they'd let him sneak out now and then, huh? How do you say, "Qassam-sized rocket" in Hebrew and how can Sderot get their hands on a few... thousand?
20. I took the liberty...
Ima Bleever ,   Anytown USA   (06.10.07)
I hope you guys at ynet don't mind. I took the liberty of contacting the makers of a serious anti-missile system. Here is their site, followed by the letter I submitted... http://www.metalstorm.com/ I believe the nice people of the town of Sderot, Israel are ready to purchase a model or two. But you will have to swing them a payment plan deal. They are poor farmers and small industry folk. Their neighbors have been shelling them daily with Qassam rockets. Their town is becoming a ghost town and nobody in the Israeli government is lifting a finger to help them. If you are truly in the business of selling your product, here is a delicious business opportunity. Don't miss out. You can contact them via www.ynetnews.com
