RHR committed this vandalism themselves in order to have an incident to complain about. They have done these stunts before.
4. Jewish worshippers
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.08.07)
What have Jewish worshippers to do in a Muslim cemetery ? Is allowing them to go there not giving them a good occasion to behave so , al least , badly . We cry when a Jewish cemetery is desacralised , with reason , so why do it to others ? And worshippers ? are they true believers those who did it ? Shame on them .
5. Jewish desecration of graves
Chris   (06.08.07)
So escorted by Israeli soldiers Jews decie to esecrate a holy place. I expect no complaints when the favour is returned in Europe over the next few weeks.

14. THIS HATE CRIME IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
stude ham   (06.08.07)
The perpetrators of these acts are purely delinquent vandals and must have the full weight of law crush down on them. There is no room in Israel for this kind of hate related crime.
15. A disgrace!

16. Fanatics commit shameful acts and blight their own cause!
Jews for Justice ,   USA   (06.08.07)
Vandals should go to jail, pay for damage and apologize to community. Most of all, to stop acting like the goyim!
17. Vandalizing: A Shameful Act
Lynne ,   Texas, USA   (06.08.07)
Those persons who chose to vandalize a sacred place, a resting place have behaved in a barbaric, hateful manner that cannot defended. Their behavior is shameful and contemptible. As a Jew, I am ashamed of them and the disgrace that they bring on us all. My heart goes out to the families of those whose graves were vandalized.
18. muslim graveyard vandalized
steven kargman ,   scottsdale, az usa   (06.08.07)
have we become "them"? not too long ago european jewish gravestones were destroyed and used for sidewalks, street repair or just left shattered in place. as jews, our history commands us to hold a higher moral ground when it comes to human compassion and understanding. it's our responsibility to correct wrongs that we see and to make this world a better place for all. it is a terrible thing to not uphold this principle amongst the living but to dishonor the dead is beyond comprehension. who were these worshipers and why were they in a moslim cemetary? why didn't their leaders police their own? why didn't the solders stop the desercrations? why were the vandals not arrested? when the values of jewish faith disappear by the actions people commit, then the answer to my question, have we become "them", is answered. it is a sad answer indeed.

Why do you care about the "poor" "poor" Palestinians in the first place? If a Jewish graveyard was in thier territory they'd probably dig up the bodies and hang them in the market square. If it WAS Jews who did this (it could be propaganda to place blame on Jews) then I support it and don't care for liberal crybaby emotions. Either way, it's good.
20. As a nation, we wonder
Eric ,   Israel   (06.08.07)
Then we have the guts to ask "why do they hate us"? The same way we generalize the Muslim world by saying "they all hate us and are terrorists", they generalize us based on the actions of a few. This is a shinning example of why the Palestinian people (the innocent ones) support a bloody war against Israel...for the same reason that so many of us support a bloody war right after a suicide bombing.
21. Imagine if you will...
Eric ,   Israel   (06.08.07)
Imagine if you will a group of Iranian citizens visiting a Jewish cemetary in one of the Jewish areas of Iran. They are of course escorted by the Iranian military / police so as to avoid any confrontations with the local populace and to maintain order. Some Iranians within the group however beak away and tarnish Jewish graves while the Iranian police / military fails in its attempt to prevent the act. What would we say? That this was but a few "bad apples" in Iran? I think we would more likely claim that this is evidence of the barbarism from the Iranian side and the it is disgusting how the Iranian army stood by and provided protection to these beasts! My point is this....they hate us for the same reasons we hate them. We generalize, they generalize, and neither one of us seems to want to have faith AT ALL in ANYONE on the other side.

charles ,   petach tikva   (06.08.07)
You "great" anonymous , you should be ashamed for writing , cowardly , such hatefull tb's . # 6 exagerated certainly , but the fact that graves have been vandalized , is scandalous , and certainly when done by Jewish "worshippers" , what do they "worship" ? hatred ? What kind of people are they ? if you even can call such people human beings .
23. Don't call their resurrection
observer   (06.08.07)
Don't you know that killing a dead brings in his resurrection. He will live to suffer the feeling of guilt for occupying your land for centuries. Of course he did not know that he was occupier in his first life, because that was thousands of year before he was first born!

Fred Farkelsteinman ,   NY, NY USA   (06.08.07)
It is good to see that there are still some Jews with decent moral values and principals who have not all left Israel already. Unfortunately it seems that you are a minority given the hate-filled posts of those responding to your very well composed comments. So Please keep up the fight and never lose faith, as good will always reign over evil and never forget that G-d is on your side.
28. Dont Believe YNETS BS..They are waging a war against Relig
aL   (06.08.07)
Jews. There is a constant drivle of anti-semitic articles comming out of this lousy website. Its a page out of pre WWII germany. This is an outrage.
29. The whole story sounds fishy to me.
Kevin G ,   Oregon, USA   (06.08.07)
Why would real Jewish worshipers want to go to a Muslim graveyard in the first place? The Left is so desperate that I would not consider it below them to try to justify Arab desecration of Jewish holy places as moral equivalent to this.... This incident should be thoroughly investigated. Who in IDF gave the approval? Who were these "worshippers"? What were they doing there? And most importantly, why was it allowed to happen, with soldiers supposedly being right there? By the way, Rabbis for Human Rights are notorious for destroying trees and crops in Jewish land. They gang up with Arabs and terrorize Judea and Samaria residents.
30. #3 - You may be right. There are unanswered questions
Kevin G ,   Oregon, USA   (06.08.07)
What were those worshippers doing there? Who do they identify with? Any chance that they were known to Rabbis for Human Rights? Why did the IDF authorize this visit? And how did it happen that they stood by while the tombs were desecrated? It's all very odd. I asked these questions before and was censored. Then it remains the fact that Rabbis for Human rights have joined forces with the Arabs and Leftists in the past to harass Yesha people, uproot their trees and crops.
