1. For a change, the Arabs are 100% correct
David ,   Rehovot   (06.10.07)
It is normal to name stations after the largest city served. Not only should Rahat remain in the name, as we're supposedly a state with equal rights, it should be the Rehat-Lehavim station. The larger town should be first.
2. Lehavim railway station.
Aryeh ,   Arad   (06.10.07)
What Ashdod-Arad line ?
3. Discrimination
Yair ,   Tel-Aviv, Israel   (06.10.07)
It is rediculous how Kadima spokesperson reported that it isn't due to discrimination...so why was it put on in the first place? As a good jesture to rally votes for Kadima? And now that you are on fire and crashing and burning you don't care...or the 5000 rich votes were more important than the 40,000 votes...please, really explain yourself while slapping them in the face
4. Rehat-Lehavim station
VoiceOfReason ,   Here&Now   (06.10.07)
They blew it again. It should be Rehat-Lehavim station. Another political ploy.
5. Lehavim-Rahat train station loses

A story for Mr. Levy and Mofaz, There once was an arguement between different parts of the body about who would be the boss. The Mind said I should be the Boss since I do all the thinking. The Eyes said no me for if you can't see you can't do anything. The Heart said me for I circulate the blood. The Ass said no me. Everyone laughed at the Ass and said no you can't be the Boss your just and Ass. So the Ass closed its self up and after a few days the Mind stop thinking the couldn't see the heart became weak until finally the whole body agreed the the Ass could be the Boss. Moral: For Mr. Levy and Mofaz- Any ASS can be a Boss. Thank u
6. How stupid
Guy ,   Israel   (06.10.07)
and ridiculous . How childish and idiotic. What more can we do to anger and upset loyal citizens. We are supposed to be the cleverest people on earth but yet time and time again we demonstrate our stupidity both in matters of State and in trivialities like this. We are inept and insensetive and utterly blind and deaf to the feelings of others. This is just another example of authorities being disconnected from the public they administer, like the Government is disconnected from the people over whom they rule. We have no hope of ever being a normal society until our democracy is overhauled.
7. Where is the balance?
YMBMY ,   Modiin   (06.10.07)
Why don't we take one side of the story, present it as fact for NINE paragraphs and then present as opposing view for the last 3 paragraphs. I am not saying whether the decision was right or wrong. All I am saying is that the report is completely imbalanced, thereby influencing the readers (perhaps intentionally). PS - to talkbackers 1-5, next time read the whole article and use your mind before you open your mouths.
8. If the arabs dont like it then leave
freejay ,   Israel   (06.10.07)
Im sick of YNet publishing any anti Israel dribble their writters can find. Even the most trivial things like this seem to make the news here. Whats going on? YNet used to be impartial but it seems the left had taken over the paper. Are any of your writers not left? Its Sickening
9. While they argue about the name of the station
tFighterPilot ,   Rishon Lezion   (06.10.07)
I don't have any station at all. Even Haifa has four stations. Why does Rishon, which is bigger, have only one and in the eastern edge?

EM ,   Ra'anana   (06.10.07)
The only "sickening" correspondence is your own. The Beduoin of Israel are counted among the most loyal Israeli citizens. They serve in the IDF, pay taxes and vote in every election. The "problem" at Ynet is not an issue of Right or Left, it is that they enable people like yourself to use this forum to spew your bigotry.
11. the ugly Israeli again exposed
Arn ,   Tel-Aviv   (06.10.07)
Stupidity verging on sheer ugliness. This dumb decision manifests a pathological autistic condition that really delivers a picture of the ugly Israeli. Now after the ransacking of the Muslim cemetery and this mind boggling insensitivity even I will believe this picture.
12. Disgusting.
Marcell ,   Israel   (06.10.07)

Guy ,   Israel   (06.10.07)
The Bedouin do not like to be called Arabs. They are loyal citizens and I would prefer them to stay and you to leave. Goodbye.
14. Train Station name
ns ,   usa   (06.25.07)
ISRAEL CREATES 90% OF ITS PROBLEMS BY SHEER STUPIDITY, ARROGANCE, & CHELM THINKING.
15. Just leave?
Steve ,   Philadelphia, PA   (06.28.07)
Freejay, the Arabs of this country will have the last laugh. It is they who actually wish to live in the Middle East, they who in truth are connected to this land. Jews like you or your parents or grandparents came here and tried to turn it into Europe. And as they repeatredly fail, they leave and go to the States or Canada or Australia. But the Arabs will stay here, because this is in truth their home. Jews are the true visitors here. Read Avi Burg's book yet? This could have been the greatest country in the world, but no. We Jews blew it. So don't get too cocky. This isn't about train stations. It's about our future. Where will YOUR grandchildren be living, here, or New York?
16. coexistence needed
Lauren ,   Israel   (07.03.07)
This was a true and simple chance to recognize Lehavim's neighbors. And it doesn't entail monetary issues. I'm angered and frustrated by Israeil Railways for backing down to Lehavim's mayor. Shame on him!
