And the gentleman from Syria is absolutely correct in his assessment & his opinions given much consideration. By the way, very few Israelis want talks with Syria - not 50% as stated by the Arab MK - nor agree with ceding the Golan. It might be about 20% and I even doubt it's that high. I understand his point but I don't think that Israel can just wait for a change in regime which may never happen. However it is possible that if the regime falls there will be civil war and chaos in Syria like in Iraq.
