I basically accept what you posted, but differ somewhat on points. I've been claiming for years that the Arabs have played with the heads of the Western leaders (and press) and also Israel to some extent. They are the masters of double talk, and can play both sides against one another. What we are seeing now however, is the true Muslim in the M.E, I frankly did not think this would occur. Hamas still envisions an Islamic state to the Jordan (including Israel of course). while killing off their opposition. Sort of reminds of of pre-war Germany, thuggery, barbarism, and clever statements by SA and SS thugs, not to exclude Hitler. Hamas has gained and lost this time., only time will tell. Israel and the US should keep these 2 entities separate. Israel must watch now more carefully than ever, to stop smuggling of anti-tank, anti-aircraft, IEDs, and other munitions used in Iraq. Hamas will throw down the hammer & enforce the hardline religious laws. Women in burkas, and men in beards. No ankles showing for women, and girls over a certain age cannot go to school.
