1. better late than never, i suppose
but this should have happened ages ago, from as soon as the kassams started getting launched from the areas Israel left, and the swell of arms was already very obviously flowing in over the Egyptian border. MANY MONTHS AGO!

6. sound like a joke
This money is part of Camp David peace agreament and changing anything in it will give the Egyptians the right to put army in Sinai and then no one can blame them because they didn't start changing the agreament but the Americans and i think this 200 millions will not efect the Egyptians more than the Americans them selfs , Egypt help the USA in area alot and stoping this money will incourage the Egyptians not help anymore and this will complicate the problems of the USA in the middle east , sure those senators are Jews or pro Israel ... clear ....lol... anyhow i doubt that they dare to reduce this money .... we will see .

7. A Drop in the bucket
$200 Million is a small percentage of the money the U.S. gifts to Egypt for its friendship. Egypt should stand to lose all funds, knowing that it would fall into a Gaza-like territory if it doesn't give a little back. Without the funds the U.S. provides (my tax dollars), the Egyptian government would scarcely be able to contain the Hamas like militants within its own borders from turning Egypt into a mid-nineties Afghanistan. Egypt needs to secure its borders immediately, and without a single iota of resistance.
