1. During Leb War many Lebs sent in Posts toYnet. They gave diff
erent points of view .I saw many many posts. Whatever the views and opinions -Lebanese sent in Posts which were interesting ,if one agreed or not with the writers of those posts from Lebanese .
BUT in the case of the Gaza last week ,there wernt many or at least I didnt see many .
Is it because the Gaza Taliban Gangs have allowed no computers or what? Even from West Bank also very few . Dont readers agree there would have been at least a few .
Maybe I am wrong .

2. Calm returns to Gaza - is the author serious ?
Most of the population is terrified!
The barbarity that the world just witnessed in Gaza should not be forgotten.
Shooting prisoners that surrender.
Shooting people in the legs.
Throwing people out of windows etc etc.
The world should be reminded and reminded in the months to come about the barbarians beneath the masks.
The non-religious Palestinians can now look forward to a life of 6th century hell. Burning books, Internet cafes, women 'properly' dressed in burqas, no TV that has not be approved by the local Imam etc etc
Of course there's calm !
Slipshod journalism !
Ynet needs new journalists in a hurry.
My list of 'don't bother to read' names is growing longer and soon Ynet will be added to the list.

3. CALM DOWN!!!!
I'm calm now that I've seen the happy fellow at JDATE and the painting of the women near the mirror. These are certainly better influences than the essence of the article. I'm pleased the YNET< the media par excellence has restored those advertisements which make life worth living.

4. Gaza Poverty Not Our Problem.
You want to be a humanitarian? Give money to Darfur refugees, help Ethiopia, people in the Congo need help. There is unfortunately no shortage of worthy causes. We have poverty here too. But giving any aid to enemies who want to destroy us? Are we crazy? Take the PA tax money for Sderot relief. Let Abbas schnor off someone else.
Palestinians deserve zero consideration, not one shekel.
Give aid to those that deserve aid.

8. calm b4 another storm brewing in the horizon
Guess what? since PA left, they have no one else to fight. So they will turn on their neighbor Israel again.
Can't believe Olmert is celebrating instead of bracing Israel for another onslaught.

I've come to the conclusion from reading Rashid's posts on Ynet that either you're a fake... or a very delusional man.

14. To Palestinian - #5
As a human being I'm sorry for your suffering. I really am. I'm also sorry for the stupidity of your people for choosing the hamas government. YOU chose it in a democratic way. And you chose them not because they would have brought good and prosperity to your emmerging self-rule. You chose them because they have a message of hate and violence. And this message of hate and violence, which, at first, was directed twds Israel, is now exploding in your faces!
I am sorry for your overall state of afairs but I dont want to take responsibility for it - YOU SHOULD!!! By the way, I lost my brother in one of the palestinian terrorist bombings in Israel. He was an engineer too but he was planning things to advance his society, not to destroy it !!!

15. Lies and propaganda
Even if there is less violence on the streets of Gaza, it's only a temporary and only an illusion. The Arab occupiers of Gaza are virulent anti-Semites. They lust for the annihilation of Israel and the extermination of the Jewish people. The Hamas terrorists who have taken over in Gaza are armed and paid for by Iran and Syria who share the same desires. The rocket attacks against the population of Israel are increasing in number and distance. If Hamas is allowed to consolidate it's control, they will escalate the violence against Israel. It would risk less lives if they were driven out now, then after they have dug in with all the lethal munitions smuggled in and stockpiled.

16. #7
if you are indeed a palestinian living in gaza (hell) and are not an impostor on this talkback, i believe you.
rashid is only an israeli impostor who is sarcastic (obvious) in all his talkbacks. he is just joking at a time that is very hard for palestinian arabs in the gaza strip.
i also believe that it took lots of guts on your part to admit a truth that is rarely seen or believed by the world population. and this is because hamas IS a liar and a propagandist twister of the truth.
israelis are 100% aware of what you are saying and we are not in the practice of decieving ourselves to believe that this internal calm hamas is so PROUD OF is actually a real calm. more like the calm before a storm that will take you palestinians in gaza on your way to a radical change and a sure death economically and nationally.
you are now facing a taliban state whether you like it or not managed by fanatic regimes such as iran and syria. you will be ruled by death, shaariah law and repression of anything that is humane and decent.....thanks to your pursue of a "democratic" election where you yourselves have given a rize to the beast amongst you. were you more politically astute as a people, you would have seen through to arafat a long time ago and become much more proactive in creating a nation of your own instead of constantly striving to destroy our nation.
an engineer and a university lecturer, an intelligent man amongst the fanatics has no future just like having your own country and state is not an option in the near future in the gaza strip.
had you put all your hate into positive energy and smart political decisions in choosing leaders that represent a possibility for a good future for you in peace and harmony with your neighbor, had you chosen leaders whose charter is cooperation and peace rather than destruction and annihilation of a neighboring country, you would have fared much better right now.
how can a people continue to make the same mistakes for 60 years i will never comprehend. if you see that your ways have not produced any results, why don't you try other means of action rather than kasams and missiles and terrorism?
this is just water under the bridge now and too late to think about what could have been had you made other, more cooperative and peaceful reasonable decisions. hind sight is always 20/20. but won't change things on the ground for you right now.
i am not going to be smug and cruel and say that you deserve what you chose some years ago to govern you. you should have realized then before elections that the lies hamas told you then are the same lies they are telling you now. were you more politically astute rather than mired with emotional hate and a wish for israel's annihilation and had you been marching on the street as a united people screaming for appropriate leaders to bring you towards the future rather than spreading candies on the streets and shouting death to israel, you would have been having a clearer vision of the exact person that may lead you towards a better future.
abbas is now the lesser of two evils. corrupt and a thief yes, but not a murderous fanatic like mashaal and haniyeh. abbas is the best you have now. otherwise you are going the way of afhganistan.

17. New elections needed in Gaza
It is very interesting to note that the economic reference is Israeli shekels. The desire of the people is to find work in Israel. The poverty and dependence on HAMAS social services caused Gazans to misguidedly vote for the social side of HAMAS not fully realizing the disasterous results with the withholding of funds from EU USA & Israel, along with the increased terror not only against Israel but HAMAS against Fatah and all of the Hamulot killing each other. With a clear threat of extremist Moslem rule, being totally eliminated from the peace process, and rapid deterioration if that is even possible in Gaza, the people need new elections and to voice a change in direction. If they now can continue to vote for HAMAS then after witnessing everything that they saw recently, they deserve the fate/death sentence that they choose for themselves. If on the other hand they vote for peace and hope, then they should begin a process of disarming the terrorists, stopping the Qassam, institute some semblance of law and order, and move to join the peace process. Otherwise they are doomed.

19. do the crime and do the time
No ketushas & suicide attacks = no tough Israeli security and plenty of jobs.
Negotiation instead of demands backed up by violence= palestian state.
The palestians want a better quality of life then there are 3 words they first need to learn TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
If they want to blow themselves up on Israeli busses or fire katushas into Israel then dont go crying to the world how unfair life is when Israel makes life difficult for you.
