1. Where can I buy the CD????
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.27.07)
This music is great, and I know a whole bunch of college kids who'd go nuts over it.
2. To Ynet
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.27.07)
I really, really want to buy this CD. The kids of whom I was speaking in the previous talkback went nuts over Yalla Ya Nasralla, although they didn't have a clue what the words meant until one of the singers, Aviv Azerad, was kind enough to email a translation. So, please, publish a URL. It's sinful to waste a talent like this, regardless of what it sounds like.

if men think that this voice is feminine, you worry too much what's going on under your pants. what's next? An order to forbid women to smile. Hey, we didn't know we had so much power.
4. That guy sounds like he's homo
palestinian   (06.27.07)
I bet you he had some good times with Olmert. Both of them seem to like it up the bum...
5. haredi soprano-----to the Met.
joe   (06.27.07)
they just invented a new law. Blasphemy is a God given voice to a jewish boy. Like the Mullahs, every monday & tuesday a new decree. Tomorrow it will be " don't look at the sky, that's the Almighty's domaine " OR " don't look down, it's the Devil's realm ". BUT you should see the haredi's eyes when a pretty girl in a Mini passes by. A jewish Opera lover.
6. sounds like dana international... not bad though

7. A special voice, kol ha-kavod
Roscio ,   Rome, Italy   (06.27.07)
Ynet, again one of your writers falls down on the job. This is NOT Torah law (de-Oraita) merely the belief of the haredim, for whom even Moshe Rabbenu would not be sufficiently dati. Mr. Fayzakov, keep using the talent HaShem has given you, and do not waste your time chasing approval from fanatics. There is a much larger audience for you out there!
8. Haredi Radio shuns...
neelnt ,   colombo   (06.27.07)
this is wonderful music..Do keep singing in this most lovely voice..Wish you the very best
9. Ok, Israelis, I need some help here
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.27.07)
I let my granddaughter listen to the song, and she's offered to trade me 2 tickets to a 311 concert on 7-19 for the CD. I might not get my hands on it by then, but if I can prove that it's on the way, she'll go for it. Y'all wouldn't want to see this old lady cry, would ya?

You seem to know a lot about homosexuality. I wonder why. Could it be a case of it takes one to know one???? How much would you care what people thought, if you could only sing like that???
11. to #7, Roscio
Vitaliy, Esq. ,   Brooklyn, USA   (06.27.07)
You should read more carefully. The article said "Jewish law" and not as you said "Torah law." What some rabbi says is the "Jewish law" in his community. And most Orthodox rabbis agree that listening to a woman singing is sinful for men.
12. Very Nice Music & Singing...I like it
Darren ,   Tampa, FL USA   (06.27.07)
Song is really nice...it has a Middle Eastern "flare"...don't get much Middle Eastern "flare" in this part of the West. Most of the Middle Eastern "flare" we get in the West is fatwas, angry faces in bedsheets, and threats of our destruction. Nice to hear something pleasant out of the Middle East for a change. Listened to it several times. I wish I knew what the lyrics were in English. Being in Hebrew...I guess it is not calling for our destruction! :) Nice change!!! :)
13. What a load of crap
Yentel ,   Israel   (06.27.07)
They ADORED the voices of Pirchei Londons highpitched soloists and Pirchei Miami and other Ashkenazi cute little boys.... Racism at work here by the usual ugly creeps? He's from a sephardi family ... that's the clue.
14.  Miami Boys' Choir
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.27.07)
I love their stuff, especially Henei Ma Tov. I don't have a clue what they're saying, but it's different and a hip wiggler, and I wouldn't care if they were Palis, New Guinea Headhunters or Jon Bon Jovi's offspring. Above all, it beats people screaming "death to" whomever. Maybe if we all sang together a little more, we wouldn't kill each other nearly as much. Since I can't carry a tune in a bucket and am surely not the only one with that "affliction,", we'd laugh a lot, too.

17. Great music.
Judy Y ,   Los Angeles   (06.27.07)
Israel has such fantastic music, it's a pity it's not well-known. It could be a bridge to other cultures in the West. It should be promoted by the government and it would be more effective PR than bikini-clad soldiers. The voice sounds not so much like a woman's but like that of a very young boy.
18. Hi voice
Shaina ,   NY, USA   (06.28.07)
I can't help but wonder if it isn't really a woman singing! unfortunately, I can't help but agree for his songs not to be aired, although they are amazing, they sound very FEMININE!
19. It's good. Could someone translate
Glenn ,   Canada   (06.28.07)
what the lyrics are about? Thanks!
20. To #19
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (06.28.07)
Good luck with that translation. I can't even get an answer as to where to buy the frigging CD. I'm trying to spend some money, and nobody lets me. Wait till I tell the guys about that!!!
21. "Men are not allowed to hear women sing.."
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.28.07)
Itself, an unbelievable thing. So the moment a man hears a beutiful female voice, he will react sexually like a dog? Modesty prevents a man from appreciating beauty from a women completely under Jewish law, unless she's his wife? That has to be up there with the Shabbat elevator" as "things G-d can't in a million years care about." Somebody help me here.....
22. Even worse than a woman's voice - it might turn them gay
David ,   Los Angeles   (06.28.07)
First they thought it was a woman. That's not allowed because Haredi men, according to their leaders, cannot be trusted to control their evil and dirty sexual impulses. But how much worse this would be if, having thought at first this was a woman and having been turned on sexually as a result of hearing a woman singing, these men realized it was a man! And were still turned on!!!!!!!!!!
23. Heredi men lacking self-discipline?
(06.28.07)
Why can't they listen to women singing? What does it have to do with modesty? It has only to do with the myth (one hopes) that very religious men are over-sexed and lack basic self-discipline. There are millions and millions of men who regularly listen to women singing, to no ill effect for them or the singers. And if they insist on their inability to tolerate women's voices, why don't they just change the station or switch off the radio? Women listen to the radio, too, and should not be denied the opportunity to hear women's voices or to have their voices heard over the airwaves (where they are not even seen). Women listen to men and male voices all the time, with no harmful gossip about the men, and no shame to the men. So what's the big deal. News flash to heredim: one of the nifty things about technology such as radio and tv is that if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to listen - just switch the station or turn it off and listen to G-d. Meanwhile, let them rest of the world hear the G-d-given talents of others. And for crying out loud, the guy is, after all, a man. Get a grip.
24. M. Hartley, I'm trying to find out
Esther ,   Ofarim, Israel   (06.28.07)
where to buy Fayzakov's CD. So far no luck.
25. to: M. Hartley , Atlanta, US

26. #22, You're very funny...
Sarah ,   Israel   (06.28.07)
I didn't think the song or his voice was that great...
27. Voice
ben ,   singapore   (06.28.07)
O haredi come on, that voice comes from a boy GRANTED with VOICE by the CREATOR in his own style a class of its own. On such merit Play his song, for goodness sake. Cut the CRAP haredi !
28. Haredim are lusting
Sarak K ,   NY   (06.28.07)
A poster wrote: "BUT you should see the haredi's eyes when a pretty girl in a Mini passes by." I've also noticed the eyes of male haredim gaze admiringly when a good looking guy goes by in shorts and tight T-shirt or even at a hunky male soldier. Their closets are bursting.
29. HYSTIRICAL
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (06.28.07)
It would be nice if for a change the haredi community could be in thenews with some positive news. Maybey it is time for them to reach out more and show the more caring and joyfull aspect of judaism to their fellow jews. Even if they think that they follow the most pure halachic form of judaism, they still are as much responsible for the rest of the nation as a whole. Maybey it is time for them to get up in arms, for the injustice ruling this land. If they are truly for kiddush hashem then no fellow jew, should be left out or be looked down upon. Living in the land but not fully participating in the daily reality of this states affairs ,will not bring about much needed change and is a well known stick your head in the sand policy. Sadly even the haredi community has not learned from its past. During ww II the nazis did not leave their communities alone and were destroyed along side every jew as one nation.

I very much appreciate your efforts. I've been all over this internet and even called the first music store I came across. That was funny. I don't speak Hebrew and whoever answered didn't speak English, German or French. They hung up on me :-) My email is mshbil@aol.com Again,I thank you.
