jerod, from one jew to another, do not dream that these arabs whom you claim are your long lost suffering friends will spare your neck should they acheive the dream of a global caliphate (god forbid). you'll be slaughtered together with millions of your kind in one minute by the same people whom you now support against what YOU THINK israel is doing. my friend, i lived in israel once and i have seen first hand how the big arab lie has used these poor people and decimated their future. gaza enjoyed a relative good economy, employment and financed before israel unilaterally left. if you were to ask most gazans what they wish most, they'll tell you that they long for the times when israel was there. once we left and thought these people will be able to build an economy and infrastructure, they all used their so called "freedom" to become more radicalized and to reign more terror attacks on israel, a situation that wouldn't have occured had israel not withdrawn. i supported the withdrawal thinking that maybe, maybe, these palestinians will choose wisely a leader to bring them out of their self imposed lunacy; create better more modern education system, build infrastructure, tend to the greenhouses we left them to cultivate and start a life on a path of peace and non violence. unfortunatelly, this didn't happen and it backfired and we see the results today. had they had uncorrupt leaders and leaders that had the people's good interests at heart, this wouldn't have been the situation. walls, no matter how high and many checkpoints are very needed in israel to protect against infiltration of terrorists into the country. had you lived in israel near sderot or the gaza strip and your family was in danger and in the line of fire, you'd have danced to a different tune because you'd have also chosen to protect yourself using the same methods israel is using; checkpoints and walls. this is reality on the ground. have you ever asked yourself how israel would have reacted if they once, just once had a logical peace partner to talk to? how they would have reacted if the militant fanatical faction guerrila terrorists amongst the palestinians put down their arems and concentrated rather than on hate and misinformation on peace and prosperity and economics and tranquility. i doubt it very much that israel would have had checkpoints and restriction of movements of palestinians in gaza/israel borders and elsewhere. there were no checkpoints and neither a wall before the terrorism and suicide bombing started. in 2000 barak offered arafat the entire gaza, half of jerusalem, the arab part and the christian part, the entire west bank minus our part of jerusalem. 98% of the territories that arafat has been requesting for ages. well, well, you know what, he walked away from this offer without even a counter offer. the minute he came back to gaza and west bank he started the second intifada, with the following statement "we will settle for nothing less than the entire israel and al quds (jerusalem) as our capital. all past agreements between him and israel and the usa were null and void according to him. so, you tell me, who destgroyed the palestinians? israel or themselves? as a jew, your abysmal lack of knowledge in jewish history and the mid east conflict is very apparent throughout your talk backs. if you are a jeww full of hate, so be it. but you also have to be a jew full of historical knowledge oof the facts on the ground and not what your arab friends tell you. they are the masters of propaganda again, i feel very very sorry for you because you seem a man in emotional termoil with a severe identity crisis. i suggest you get help. you are drowning in self hate.

no, i didn't suggest not to pity arabs. i suggested that mr. cohen has a very limited historical knowledge about his origins, his history as a jew and his people's rightful home historically and religiously on the land of israel, judeah and samaria. it's his lack of historical awareness that is couding his mind. i also suggest to you that if the world continues to "pity arabs", the arabs will never learn to take care of themselves and be self sufficient. had the "world" not aided the palestinians with dollars, but with experts in building an economy and infrastructure systems, agriculture, modern education rooted in love and non indocrination, business development, etc.... MAYBE you would have seen a different gaza and west bank. imagine a peaceful arab population there that builds its li9fe systems and is not violent. they could have had a beautiful state as well a long time ago with communication channels between them and israel, shared tourism, shared knowledge in agriculture, science, medicine, high tech, etc... what most don't understand is that jews DO NOT WISH to subjugate the palestinians into refugee camps. however, we CANNOT allow these people to ruin our lives and country with violence, terrorists and bombs because their kuran tells them jews are apes and monkeys, to hate us and to annihilate us from our land. their present circustances are directly related to the years and years of pan arabism unity and the big lies that arab nations told them and used them as a fighting tool in a wishful thinking of israel's elimination. if these palestinians were not so far gone with hate, they'd realize they have been used by the same arab leaders they call friends. if they realized that and took their lives in their hands, made their own decisions, approached israel in peace to create their own country, gave up on the kuranic message of annihilation of jews wherever they can be found, only then can they self determine.
