1. GO FEGLIN, GO FEGLIN, GO FEGLIN, GO FEGLIN!!!!
Jeremiah ,   Israel's Jewish Land   (07.10.07)
2. Netanyahu ,another lap dog of failed U.S. policy
Another phony politician who used to talk a good line but is part of the corrupt peace agenda which dismantles Israel. The phony Netanyahu can be remembered for surrendering much of Hebron to the Islamic terrorists to please his master in Washington
Marcel ,   Florida   (07.10.07)
3. Bibi, why are you different then any of the rest?
The country is in the mud, yes, but why are you different then the rest. Will you attempt to correct the lies of the invention of a people? Will you stop bowing to the god called America? Will you actually stand for a Jewish Israel? If not, you are the same. After seeing you on your last visit to the US, you seem to have sold out to the Americans as have the rest of the current leaders in the Jewish State. Please tell and SHOW us otherwise. By the way, stay away from the so called prophet named Joel, the xtian who advised you about "Jewish" prophecy. If you do, it will be a disaster.

4. Confidence in Israel...
Confidence in the USA... our strong friendship has always been a two way street with great mutual respect. Both know what it means to stand alone. Go cast your votes... Netanyahu is a patriot worthy of being PM again. At least we ALL agree... Kadima must go NOW!

5. Jewish Leadership
How can you possibly label Jewish leadership (of Manigut Yehudit) extreme rightist.?

6. Moshe Feiglin is too far in one area
After reading the site of Moshe's, which I recommend to all, is that the suggestion of a gov't basically run by rabbi's. Which ones? I think if this is the case they need oversite of which they have not had for many, many years. In one sense, the revival of the Sanhedrin must have someone to oversee their implimented laws. Another problem is Erev Rav, they need to be reigned in and corrected. This form of gov't that Moshe recommends can be a reality, not today, but in the future. I don't know if the public as a whole could accept them. I agree with most of what Moshe say's but have huge huge reservations of how they wish to administer "Jewish Law". What is far worse is that the global situation takes further hold of Israel. IE. American, EU, UK policies to protect themselves at the expense of Israel.

Dear Shiloh, I am with Manhigut and Moshe Feiglin. Let me explain that you are not correct in your reading of Moshe's website. Moshe envisions a conventional government run with "Jewish Values", as opposed to Israel's previous governments which have been run by secular values. He will establish a constitution to enshrine checks and balances and to ensure the country will stay Jewish. He will instill one hour of Jewish education per day into all public schools, and he will teach Love of Jews, Love of Torah and Love of Eretz Yisrael. But he won't legislate religion. He won't use coercion to force people to be religious. He want so set up a beautiful Jewish atmosphere so people will want to be more Jewish. Won't you help out in the campaign? www.jewishisrael.org

In re-reading the site, I am still concerned that an underlying point in that the Jews shall appoint a king, correct, and that any law that he passes shall be in principal with "Torah Law". The Sanhedrin precides over rulings dealing with Torah law. Without getting into too much mud, I am greatly concerned the definition of Torah law. Both written and oral as the site refers to. Written, no problem. Oral, I personally have a huge problem with some of it as it both goes against some of the written Torah as well as contradicts itself with the motive being fully revealed once studied. Don't worry, I have had some fun with rabbi's already about this and they replied, quit being a smart ass. I believe much of this can be corrected as the Rambam said "The Mashiakh will repair the breaches of the Torah". Then I can agree to the rest of his site. I guess it's between now and then, like the self appointed current sanhedrin. Not a good idea. The Mashiach will appoint them. But, in all I agree with the direction and I am sure the Mashiakh will help with some loose ends. I have written Moshe personally and hope he writes back. I think it's for sure in the right direction. Thanks for writting. All the best.

9. Rob, a quote from Wikipedia
Why don't you use your Jewish name to begin with and not your slave name? As I was afraid to find, in Wikipedia in both Hebrew and English it states "Manhigut seems to be to use democracy to replace Israeli law with Halakha". Good luck though, maybe one day we will get it right. HaShem willing. Guess we sit out this election too unless convinced otherwise.

10. Moshe Feiglin is not calling for a "halachic" state
I have had the privilege of hearing Moshe speak twice, and the subject of a state governed according to halacha came up. He gave very well thought out reasons why even the idea doesn't make sense, many with very religious overtones. This is a topic discussed in detail on Manhigut's English site (and probably their Hebrew site as well). Manhigut has alway expended great effort to keep their web sites up to date and fresh. I highly recommend anyone who is concerned about Moshe Feiglin's views check them out.

11. Shimshon, that's exactly why I am asking
If he has not later agenda of ever exchanging civil law with halachot, then this is fantastic. This was my only reservation. I have wrote him and will enquire further as I have not had the luxury of listening to some of his previous speeches. If this is the case, I will do my part to get this word out. It is our responsibility to ensure we know who we vote for. I am glad you posted this. All the best.

12. From the English Web site
Religion and State How can the regime that governs Israel reflect the Jewish identity of the state? Surely, Torah law is the Divine blueprint for the Jewish state. The reality, though, is that currently, Torah law does not relate to the nuts and bolts of governing a state, but rather to personal, family and community issues. Since the exile from Jerusalem two thousand years ago, Jewish sages did not develop the codes of law that relate to government. This requires a major and multi-generational effort of the rabbinical leadership of the Jewish people. Building on the foundations delineated in the Torah and Rabbinic literature, they must develop Jewish law that can be applied in a modern and multi-faceted Jewish state. This includes the laws of the kingdom of Israel, Sanhedrin, justice, economics et al. -------------------------------------------------- I guess one cannot define this as halachot then, but, as above, Torah Law (halachot) is divine, since the Sages have not written any halachot (divine law) who is going to write new divine law? It's best I stay away from this bunch, but wish you all the best in part of the solution.

13. AFRAID TO BE EXPOSED
I am a Likud member for 10 years now, a few years ago i found that there was a Likud A & B. A = Arik and B = Bibi and Sharon grabbed control while Bibi licked his wounds. Now there are 3 groups in Likud Bibi, Silvan and feiglan. Silvan wants head from the central members Bibi gives head to the central members and Feiglan thinks he is head. Now smaller than ever the Likuds central members all want jobs and favors and how do i know you ask? Well i signed up more than 50 new party members which makes me a central member and am i? NO! Why? Cause central member group leaders had taken my new members and declared them theirs making me a regular Likud member. Boy am i happy Arcadi Guydomak has opened a new political party, now he gets my vote and all those that signed as members for the Likud, The polls will prove this. If Arcadi Guydomak takes Bibi or sivan or feiglan in as party members i move back to Florida and give the finger to Israel cause after Arcadi Guydomak there is no more hope for Israel, this is my opinion.
