Cohen approached De Hartuch with the aim to provoke. Now that De Hartuch has apologized (he shouldn't have) let's see if Cohen is capable of introspection and will apologize for his callous, stupid and provocative remarks. free speech is not dependant on whether you like or dislike what is being said. in the U.S. we have legal protection of free speech. i hope that israel should have it too. the only exceptions (in U.S. constutional law) to free speech are words that will directly cause death and injury. for example, a call to violently overthrow the government or a call of "fire" in a crowded movie theater. otherwise -we are free to say what we please. calling someone an S.O.B. is protected speech.
