I have always liked both Gingrich and Giuliani. Both are bright and fiesty arm twisters who usually know what they want and have the skills to get it that done. One distinguished himself on Capitol Hill and the other distinguished himself in the jungle which were the streets of New York at the time. Both men are pragmatic, yet both have different styles. Guiliani has the ability to see both sides of an issue. Gingrich is more of an ideologue. Guiliani will not tolerate nonsense, while Gingrich will strike a deal. As Mayor , Guiliani was closer to the people. As a Senator, Gingrich had a select constituency. Up to now, I have been supporting Guiliani. Untill Gingrich throws his hat in the ring, he is not in the game and can talk all he wants. If Gingrich enters the race and it comes down to Guiliani VS Gingrich I will have to see them fight it out and then decide who gets my vote. Gingrich, I feel can be too conservative for his own good. Guiliani, for that matter, has a few obstacles that can be made political hay out of by his enemies which I think should be irrelevent. But such is politics. The only Democrat I could ever support in the race would be Joe Lieberman, and he is not running. Hillary would be a disaster for the US. I forgot to answer your question about why America is concerned about the Iran issue. That is a real problem because after Iran is defeated, America will collapse into four countries.
