Ron you are fast becoming my favorite writer here How did you convince those at ynet to publish your pieces?
2. What do you expect from Jews...
Mohammad ,   Al Quds   (07.23.07)
They lie about everything, in order to make a war or kill somebody or steal more and more land, they simply lie, lie lie till you are beleived, right? We wil see much of this lieing as long as this corrupted gov't ruling Israel and no one is stopping it, even Israeli people!!!! Free Occupied Palestine Now
3. Syria and Iran
Michael A. Keats ,   Uceanport,NJ USA   (07.23.07)
Israel and the US should waste no time and destroy Iran and Syria along with it at once. Waiting for analysis and to see what "is real and not real" is a foolish gamble. A war to destroy both is inevitable and must be fought now before the US elects an appeaseing, defeatist, pacifist fool like Hillary Clinton or worse.
4. Mo in Quds
g ,   oakland, ca   (07.23.07)
Hey, Mo. It appears that it's al-Sharq al-Awsat that is spreading the lies. Arabs in London. You'd better bone up on your reading skillz, you pathetic putz.
5. another idiotic article
arie ,   tel aviv   (07.24.07)
one more idiotic article by olmert court journalist. His statement that Syria is just tring to improve conditions in peace talks with israel remindes me interview with another idiot raanana cohen who explained that intifada is just way of arafat convincing his people to sighn peace agreement with Israel
6. Wrong on all accounts.
Persian CAT   (07.24.07)
Mr. Ben-Yishai is wrong to consider Alsharq Alawst a "respected and largely credible newspaper. Asharq Alawsat is neither of those. It is a Londod-based rag which is financed and "edited" by some Saudi prince therefore it the Foxnews of the Middle East - funny one is run by an Arab and the other one by a Jew! The whole concept of Iran "giving" Syrian $1 billion was and is ridiculous because Iran does not have this kind of money. Iran would spend the money to arm itself first. I posted my openion about this kind of gossip as soon as it appeared on this site among others. The author is wrong again by saying the article was planted by Iran and Syria. Ali Reza Nourizadeh who was the "source" of the article has a long history of working with the Israelis, he is a mouthpiece of the MEK also. Therfore the "odor" comes from Israel that wanted to spin this event and the whole thing backfired. I think Israel needs to send its disinformation guys back to school for a remedial course. Better luck next time.
