What an understatment - he's correct, of course, but evidently too polite to scorn this arms deal & the faulty conceptions behind it with the less polite language it deserves. C'mon Mr Gold, just say it's stupid, a policy made by failed leaders desperate to show some achievement while disguising their total lack of intelligent action, not to mention their self-interest in promoting multi-million dollar arms deals even against the real interests of their country.
