1. The FBI not to take action
Josh   (08.11.07)
Sounds familiar Are we sure we trust them with American safety interests after botched 911. Col hacavod for New York taking precationary steps after their last major incident.
2. #1
(08.11.07)
since we live in a democracy and our safety should be the government's mrime concern......and it seems it is not, the best thing to do is to act locally. actions taken by majority of citizens that are concerned for their safety and do not need to wait for governmental permission to do so.
3. Bullshit
captainkona ,   Bristol, TN USA   (08.11.07)
Another Zionist tabloid trying to scare Americans into solidarity with an undeserving Israel. Get out of Palestine and there will be no threat. The NY gov't are cowards for even reacting to this fraud.
4. Commissioner Kelly Is The Best In The Business. Really.
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (08.11.07)
LIsten up everyone - the NYPD under Commissioner Kelly is the best in the US, and might be the best in the world. WHATEVER he orders his anti-terror forces to do is on the basis of the best intel available. On the other hand, the FBI has a very spotty record. That IS precisely why Kelly created his anti-terror task force which deploys inteligence detectives all over the world. The FBI was (and probably still is) up in arms about it because it stepped on their toes. Ask me if I care??
5. Crying wolf
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (08.11.07)
I hope this won't be like the story of the little boy who cried wolf. First time, all out security alert - nothing happens; second time - security alert - nothing happens. Third time - no alert - KABOOM!!
6. Forewarned IS Forearmed
Adina kutnicki ,   US   (08.11.07)
The NYPD anti-terror squad under Commissioner Kelly is the best in the US, and perhaps the best in the world. I would NEVER second guess their intel and their methods. They surely are NOT only relying on DEBKA. As for the FBI, they were livid when Kelly decided NOT to wait for them to share intel with the NYPD. Therefore, Kelly deployed NYPD anti-terror detectives all over the world to assist NYC in its efforts. The FBI has a turf complex and Kelly was absolutely correct in setting up its own shop.
7. Only a so-so Record on Accuracy.
ER ,   Canada   (08.11.07)
I have found their reports to be fairly accurate more often than not, especially with regard to the intentions of the West---which is all one can expect in that business. Their track record isn’t so good on the Moslem world. Debka were most notably wrong immediately prior the US-led invasion of Iraq, when they often had poor intelligence reports that gave contradictory speculative accounts on such things as the movements of Sadam and his family. Nevertheless, many of their so-called “intelligence failures” have not yet been proved wrong or were partially right. For example, prior to the war, Debka were reporting that Sadam had moved his chemical weapons into Syria for safe keeping. On-the-other-hand because of this, Debka were correctly predicting that the Allies would not find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I’m not sure it has ever been established that Sadam didn’t hide any weaponry in Syria. As it turns out, Debka seem to be no more unreliable than the CIA!

9. What if the terrorists did this deliberately
Judy Y ,   Los Angeles   (08.11.07)
They wanted to test the readiness of the police and intelligence agencies. There have been quite a few incidents of dummy bombs aboard aircraft lately. They have been considered dry runs for the real thing. "Police across the country should be on the lookout for what could be "dry runs" for a terrorist attack, the Transportation Security Administration advised after series of suspicious incidents occurred at U.S. airports. A TSA advisory details four incidents from the past 11 months in which screeners found unusual objects with items that could mimic bomb components in passengers' checked or carry-on bags. In one case a couple in Baltimore, Maryland, checked a plastic bag with a block of processed cheese taped to another plastic bag containing a cell phone charger. Earlier in July in San Diego, California, a passenger checked a bag containing two ice packs covered in duct tape. The ice packs had clay in them instead of the normal blue gel. Terrorists could be testing the system, or could be conducting repeated operations to desensitize security officials, the bulletin says." http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/07/24/tsa.incidents/

11. NYC is incredibly lucky to have Ray Kelly!
U.S.Fed ,   DC   (08.12.07)
I am a federal executive in Washington, DC. I worked for Ray Kelly for a few years when he was a political appointee under Clinton. Please believe me when I tell you that he is by far the most brilliant law enforcement leader that this country has ever seen. He is a tough, no BS, manager and probably not the easiest guy to work for. But he made no apologies for this; nor should he have had to. He is who he is and I learned more from him about managing and leading large organizations than I have from any other leader. Several federal agencies owe their success to his leadership. Personally, I owe my success as an executive to his mentoring. New York is a great city and its law enforcement team is lead by a great civil servant. NYC is incredibly lucky to have Ray Kelly working on its behalf.

13. For the second time in five years, hair analysis has
Rivkah   (08.12.07)
shown me to be off the charts toxic in uranium. I send a doctor's prescription for toxic metals test kit to Doctors' Data Inc. of Chicago for a kit to see what toxic heavy metals I have been exposed to or poisoned with that show up in the hair. I believe a lot of people are poisoned with uranium in water and the air by depleted uranium fuel rods being put into water sources such as Source Perrier in France. I drank Perrier Water for a year before the hair test, but have changed to filtered tap water with a Microlyte ionic alkalinizing filter. The website for Perrier admits to trace amount of uranium, but I was poisoned by someone or it was in the water or air. Big exploding suitcase nukes or exploding depleted uranium or dirty nukes is not the only worry. I have been poisoned twice with uranium alone to the point of death if I did not chelate out heavy metals routinely as a matter of course. Even with daily chelation, my hair was off the charts toxic. I do not think I am the only person who has been poisoned. Many more people need to be tested to establish what is happening in areas or food or water sources.

16. Dr.DavidEdwards of Fresno said the entireworld's watersupply
Rivkah   (08.12.07)
is contaminated with URANIUM from Chernobyl which sent up a radioactive cloud that went around the world. Chernobyl means Wormwood, a star spoken of in the Peshita Aramaic text of the Bible that makes the waters bitter. Many men die from the bitter waters poisoned by the star called Wormwood. The heat at which Chernobyl melted was equivalent to a star's heat. For forty years, the countries downwind of Chernobyl had to import their drinking water, although they bathed in the radioactive water caused by Chernobyl. I chelate out heavy metals a little bit most days with alpha-lipoic acid capsules and milk thistle and Flor-essence tea. But even with those precautions, the lab report on a hair sample sent in for toxic metal testing was off the charts toxic in uranium. That means I got such a high dose from somewhere, the simple precautions I took were over-whelmed by the amount of uranium I was exposed to. Many veterans who went to Bosnia, Iraq, and Afganistan were poisoned by uranium in the air, water, and soil from the depleted uranium tipped bunker buster bombs. Some people at certain parts of Bagdad Airport died within days of exposure, it was so toxic. America is under attack, too. Russian defector Stanislav Lunev I have met through Prophecy Club lectures says to drink only distilled water because water sources are being poisoned. But if I drink distilled water as I did for years with a home water distiller, the elevated tissue oxygen levels I need to maintain to protect me from pathogens is neutralized. I need a water source that is not contaminated so severely that chelating becomes ineffective. To chelate out massive amount of uranium which is nephrotoxic and nearly shut down my kidneys, takes other forms of chelation. Britain routinely checks their troops for uranium toxicity when they return from Iraq and Afganistan. The State of Louisiana does so, at no cost, too. You obviously have protected yourself from knowledge of dangers to America. "My people perish from lack of knowlege" the Bible says. Even with knowledge, I have nearly died. Many troops with uranium poisoning have died being told they need Prozac and Motrin instead of heavy metal testing and chelation. HALF the troops from the 1991 Persian Gulf War are dead. I suggest you contact the Gulf War Veterans Association and watch a video/DVD on Gulf War illness. Buy a few lectures from the Prophecy Club of Topeka, Kansas, by Bill Schnobelen and Stanislav Lunev and many others who are warning of the dangers. Isaiah chapter 5 says the Lord will walk HIS PEOPLE through the fire and the floods. Most physicians do not do heavy metal testing which is a factor in many diseases from cancer to Altsheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes, etc. Try subscribing to medical newsletters by physicians not owned by Big Pharma. In a year or two you will have an understanding that could save your life.
