31. you guys have no idea
The Bnei Menashe are actually very much indeed a part of the jewish people. Genetic analysis has been conducted on many members of this tribe and genes coding for middle eastern origins have been found amongst many people both men and women. Such genes have not been found in the surrounding populations giving the chance of the truth of their claim very good odds. The Bnei Menashe are fiercely religous and committed Jews who will be Jewish no matter if they are granted immigration to Israel or not. They have suffered such persecution from those Christian neighbors over many years and now Jews reject them because they look "Asian?" Let me tell you something, Judaism is a RELIGION not a race. People of all races can be Jews. Do you think Moses was a Jewish boy from a polish shtetl? I think not. Lets leave it at that. Bnei menashe...welcome home!!

33. The Menashe Tribe
I think this is a great human interest story as well as a fantastic Biblical prophetic application. First of all it ties in with the prophecies that denote a RETURN of the "lost tribes" back to Israel in the "last days, and secondly, it shows that the LOST TEN TRIBES of ISRAEL were SCATTERED from northern Assyrian to where they were placed by the Black and Caspian Seas, eventually all across Eurasia to India and up to China!!! One Asian tribe was called, "The White Huns"!!! So the fact that these people claim descent from one of the Lost Tribes is very probable. Another fact to note, that even that great Jewish historian Flavius Josephus stated that, "only two tribes serve the Romans and the rest of the tribes are beyond the Euphrates and are an inmense multitude that cannot be counted for number." So, it is my hope that these people will be allowed to RETURN to the land of their forefathers and I would hope that their "Jewish" brothers and sisters would do all they could to help them to that end.

34. The Real reason to bring them to israel
is to make the jewish nation grow faster than the Arabs , that s the main reason . Many russians are not even jews according to many books i read they were converted later at a fast rate and they dont even go to synaguoges and eat pork too but they needed a job and food and breed more kids

35. Bnei Menashe Yehudim
The Bnei menashe do not fit the category of the Russians. The Bnei Menashe are a religous authentic Jewish people who are committed to Torah Judaism. The secular government of Israel is afraid that bringing such religous people to its country will contribute in the growing strength of religous parties such as UTJ and Shas. Bnei Menashe will make good citizens in Israel...better than the non-Jewish Russian ones by far.

37. They are not fake
These would be immigrants are not fake. Neither are they economic refugees. They practice their rituals and rites in an open country like India. They will make a good success in Israel with all the opportunities (religious, economic, social and cultural) that will be available to them. Israel's gain is India's loss (but, then India has 1.1 billion people and can afford to loose a few. Though, it is very likely that they will sever themselves from the culture ocf India at least for a generation or two).

39. BOGUS "JEWS", ONLY ECONOMIC IMMIGRANTS!!
NOT A SINGLE ONE IS JEW. TO CONVERT ORTHODOX BY INVENTING FALSE AND DISHONEST JEWISH ROOTS MAKE THEIR CONVERSION A SHAM, COMPLETELY INVALID!
Another of Michael Freund's crazy deeds!
Same for the Ethiopians (Falasha or not)! NOT A SINGLE ETHIOPIAN IS JEW;. TO MAKE THEM ORTHODOX JEWS DOES NOT MAKE THEM JEWS, AS THEY ARE ONLY ECONOMIC IMMIGRANTS!
