Blair developing plan for Israeli-Palestinian steps    Reuters
1. BAD NEWS BLAIR
This is the man who took his country to war in Iraq in the name of making the country a better place. Its been decades since England could be considered a real ally of Israel and as he has been chased out of office at home and he has messed up Iraq now he is looking for a new legacy to be remebered for and so he is going to become the western defender of the palestian cause. The west loves the palestians now Blair will be their new champion atr Israels expense he knows Olmert is a weak idiot and he is trying to take advantage of that now to get all the concesions he wants and more. You also cannot rush peace first the palestians must be ready themselves to end terror and accept Israel and trade their guns for paper and pen and hold serious negotiations. It doesnt matter if negottiations take 10 days or 10 years if your going to do something esepcialy this then do it right otherwise we will all shake hands the palestians will have their state but the war will continue and Israel will end up going to war with the official palestian state to stop terror. The palestians dont even have a united front on what they want themselves will Israel find itself in a position where an agreement is reached with Abbas now the state comes into existence then Hamas or some other group say ok we will recognise Israel but we want all these extra things out of Israel Weak Olmert says yes we can say we have peace with Fatah and Hamas now nut then another group comes along says thats a good start but we need just that bit extra if you want peace with us. Israels idiot politicians like Olmert would fall for every word of it if the arabs mention the P word Olmert will come running begging them to take territory, divide Jerusalem and even the refugee issue has gone from being a red lione never to be crossed to a pink one which some kind of compromise can be made over like allowing a certain number of them to move to Israel. There are no red lines for Israel anymore all this talk of peace since oslo has caused the politicians to make compromise after compromise so they can be the ones to get that historic peace agreement no matter what the cost to Israel. Barak showed that when he agreed to divide Jerusalem once the unthinkable but it was in the name of peace so it was acceptble. Blair is a master of manipulation and he will get all these concesions out of Israel he might even bring about that mythical palestian state but it wont be a state that lives side by side peacefully with Israel the terror will continue.

3. No to external interference
The so-called Quartet is a manipulated product of Wahhabhist terrorist state Saudi Arabia that is hellbent on the destruction of Israel. Israel should take care of its own internal affairs and tell the Quartet to dissolve and stop interfering in Israel's internal affairs. The latent hands of Israel's pernicious enemy are behind all this crap. Peace cannot be forced on any country. Peace cannot be achieved without first reforming the religion of Islamist-Jihadists. So long as their religious book tells them to hate Jews and Christians and subdue, dominate and islamize all non-Islamist countries around the world,, there will be no peace with Islamist-Jihadist forces in the Middle East or elsewhere. Hence, there is no point entertaining Blair or having him play a role. It is time Israel remains firm and tells the Quartet and the Dark Forces to stop meddling in its internal affairs. It is NONE of their business to be intruding in Israel's internal affairs and it is NONE of their business to allow themselves to be enslaved and manipulated by the Islamist-Jihadists or Wahhabhists or Ayatollahists. In fact, the Free World should support Israel in confronting and defeating the Jihadism/Terrorism of Islamist-Jihadists in the Middle East and elsewhere.

All the meetings with Blair or any other representative from the quartet, should be conducted in Sderot. If the british protective services think that it is to dangerous it will bring into perspective what the citizens of Sderot (and Ashkelon pretty soon) have to put up with.

7. Doomed To Failure
All "political" solutions to our conflict are doomed to failure. The conflict is not one of politics, but (as Rabbi M. Froman correctly points out) of religion. And it is about culture and pride. It is about G-d and godlessness. Mr. Blair and the many others like him from Kissinger to Rice cannot comprehend the essence of this problem, because they all come from a political background. They view everything as a political problem solvable with political solutions. This is not the case here. This is why no political solution has ever worked here. It is impossible for it to work here. This is not as much a conflict of Jews versus Arabs as much it is of Judaism versus Islam. The resolution of our conflict may only come about if it is our religious leaders who meet to find a solution, a common ground, on a foundation of respect and honor. Our "secular" political leaders are ill-equipped to handle this problem, because they have no real respect for religion, which is a fundamental element of life in the Arab/Moslem mind. What good Moslem would want to deal with those irreligious infidels?

9. #2, hate to break the news
There isn't an academic boycott of Israel. Maybe you are getting confused with a motion passed which asked for a report about a boycott to be circulated and for a discussion about whether this report should be "taken into consideration" by academics when working with Israelis. Just because journalists are too lazy to fact check doesn't mean you should be
