It doesn't matter who hid what where. The bottom line is that this was a war and as long as Islamic terrorism exists and continues to spread its violent, barbaric doctrine, civilians will get killed. Actually in Naher al Bared camp, the Lebanese army evacuated all civilians (40,000 of them) before starting to shell the camp. The Lebanese army was operating within the borders of its own country. The Lebanese army did not use their heavy bombing until the very last days, and suffered most of their casualties because they chose not to toss bombs from afar, and actually went in in the camp in targeted operations. The Lebanese army even allowed food and medicine to go in the camp to treat the insurgents wounded and feed their families. The Lebanese army did not target the civilians that were fleeing. The Lebanese army did not throw cluster bombs The Lebanese army did not plant land mines troughout the camp (the army is actually working on removing the mines put up by the insurgents) The Lebanese government is working on a plan to rebuild the whole camp and reimburse those that were affected by the bombing. In short, you cannot even begin to compare what the IDF did in the 2nd Lebanon war to the what the Lebanese army did in Naher el Bared, so get your facts straight before talking bud!

israel WARNED the lebanese civilians by THROWING LEAFLETS INTO THE CIVILIAN AREAS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON WARNING THEM OF AN IMMINENT ATTACK ON HIZBULLAH STRONHOLD. hizbullah kept these citizens in the houses it housed their terror cells and ammunition and tunnels because THEY KNEW that in this way these innocent people will be killed and they can use it for propaganda. it was a calculated arab move. nothing new. they do it all the time.

The next time someone kidnaps your soldiers or kills your people and you have the unmitigated gall to retaliate, for crying out loud, try to live up the HRW's contentions and your name and level everything and everybody in sight and give them something to gripe about. Oh, and if they don't want civilians killed, have HRW tell the asshats to wear uniforms.

Naher-el-Bared was not evacuated by the Lebanese army. Its inhabitants fled, as Arabs fled from Israel whenever their own armies started the wars. And the Lebanese army did shell the camp with people still in it (except there was no Green helmet guy and other "Red Cross volunteer" to pimp the bodies for the cameras), if you care to examine more closely the scant press reports available.

As for "heavy bombing", the Lebanese army doesn't have a bomber force so technically you are right here. What they did instead is heavily shell the camp as you can see. Most of the IDF casualties were "because they chose not to toss bombs from afar, and actually went in in the camp in targeted operations". Exactly one of the 4,000 rockets hit a military target. Israel also "allowed food and medicine" and there were a few respites from the bombing during the war to evacuate people and Israel coodinated conveys that weren't attacked. The Lebanese army may not have "thrown cluster bombs" but then Fatah al-Islam didn't cover 1/3 of Lebanon with rockets. So there is "a plan to rebuild" the camp, ain't that sweet. Just like they have rebuilt the South. If I was a Palestinian living in Naher Al-Bared, I wouldn't be booking my move back just yet. As a matter of curiosity, given the above is common knowledge what "news source" did you get your "facts" from?

In other words, the terrorists STAGED the damages and their claims. A study of MSM lebanon war coverage by Harvard University reveals exaggerated accounts of incidences, damages and casualties, all arranged by hezabollah E.g. "Hizbullah limited access to Western reporters, "orchestrated" events and manipulated journalists with threats of expulsion if they violated its reporting rules. And the press largely complied with the restrictions that were "reminiscent of the Soviet era,".

It was very clear during the war that Israel pre-planned the war (admitted by Israel) and was looking for a fight and was using US supplied weapons to intentionally attacking civilians. All this report does in confirm what everyone already knew regardless of Israel's attempted denials, that Israel chose to attack civilians, was not deeply sorry nor regretted doing so and that Hezbollah did not use civilians as human shields as Israel tried to claim. As has been pointed out everything you stated was wrong. 1) Pamphlets were dropped to notify the civilians to get out. They didn't because they are complicit. 2) HRW noted Hesbo did NOT dress in uniforms. 3) They didn't use cluster bombs because they don't have them 4) If another country attacks you of course your going to respond to that country, doesn't that make sense?
