What Isarel should do is to announce very loudly in advance to the Gazans AND the western media that if the rockets continue do not stop there will be a slight decrease in electricity and oil which will get progressivly get worse until the attacks stop. Tzoref is right on some points, but is wrong that there is no answer. Air assaults on Kassam launchers kill some Hamas / Fatah soldiers. A ground assault will protect Sderot only as long as the soldiers are there, but the soldiers will become sitting ducks after a few months. There is one solution and everyone knows it. Rebuild the Jewish towns Sharon and Olmert destroyed in Gaza and the Samaria. Encourage expansion of existing towns. The Arabs will see that maintaining war will leave them with nothing. They will beg for peace in order to be left with something.

Currently, the resindents of Sderot, Askelon and other towns live under constant attaks by PA. Israel should alow wesbankers also to have Qassams so they bomb some towns near the shore, like Herzlia or Natanya (bat not Tel Aviv).
