1. A straight Answer is needed now
Simon Mohammed ,   falls Church VA USA   (09.08.07)
In the context of calming thing down, and if wrong doing or mistake with no intention to viloate the Laws then it could put things back to the normal. Don't forget the Goal is acheiving lasting peace with mutual respect, security for all people there not escalating to war. Arrogance and playing with words is not needed here from all parties. Thank you and good luck
2. This picture could be a fabrication.

Marwan ,   Amman, Jordan   (09.08.07)

5. #4 Can't carry out one simple operation???? Who fooled who

8. #4 Marwan: What mission did they fail to
Mark ,   Georgia, USA   (09.08.07)
carry out? The IDF didn't bomb Syria which means Syria is lying, big surprise there, eh. So what was the mission? What if the IDF was just testing the Russia made antiaircraft guns. Then maybe it wasn't a failure. We don't really know do we? So how do you get to " it be lunacy for israeli war mongers to be saying "bring it on" is the Arab ego so low that you have to make up crap to feel better. I think I can help you here are some cool facts about Israel. http://youtube.com/watch?v=I5tDDkvXSI8 Tell what has the "Religion of Peace" contributed to the world in the last 100 years. Ever heard of a thing called a "nuke?" Oh and pardon me, Israeli planes went through syria and turkey, did their jobs, gathered the info they needed, without 1 scratch on their planes... So i must ask u, how the hell did the operation NOT go smoothly? When will arabs stop the jihad and start educating themselves?
10. Fuel Tanks
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (09.08.07)
If they're full, send them back. If they're empty, keep them. Either way, the wind probably pushed them across the Turkish border. Yep, that's it. hehehehe. Look at the good side: Just think what a mess a couple of downed jets would have made all over the place.

Marcel ,   Florida   (09.08.07)
When has the arab world ever given Israel a straigt answer ? Never. Only lies and false accusations such as your protocols and unending hate. You demand what you are not willing to give. Israel is surrounded by barbaric tribes who only seek their destruction and continue to threaten her existence.BNe glad it was only empty fuel tanks because something more is on the way if the jihad spirit is not extinguished against Israel.
12. What lousy amateurs!

13. PLEASE , TAKE A MAP !!
Peter ,   Belgium   (09.08.07)
This story is full of very strange elements!! Tal al-Abiad is 200 km away from Gaziantep Area. Syrian witness in Tal al Abiad said those airplanes jettinosed the tanks over there....how is possible that those tanks ran for 200 km ?? And above all , why if Syrians saw on the radar 5 airplanes coming from Turkish mediterrean Sea and subsequently escaping toward Turkey , they said immediately " these were Israeli Fighters" and didn't think to Turkish airplanes ?? And why Turkey Radar Web ( very good radar web because it is a NATO Member) didn't see anything ?? I have many doubds about this story
14. So it was Turkey

No Andrew , Syria do not control Turkey and haven't put those tanks in Turkey! I have replied to your question. Now YOU reply to my question. If the Syrian people living in Tal al Abiad said the truth.....how is possible that those fuel tanks flew for 200 km and fell in that Turkish area ?? I usually don't believe to what is phisically impossible. Someone has not said the truth.

marwan, israeli iaf are the best in the world, even better than usa pilots which they constantly train in arial combat and dog fighting. the iaf suceeded in destroying the entire egyptian, syrian and jordanian fleet in 6 days flat in 1967. in 1973, yom kipur war, which ARABS STILL CELEBRATE AS A VICTORY????? victory, my tush! israel was 20 km from damascus and on its way to capture syria entirely. read your history. nasser while loosing miserably still told the uninformed arab public that they are winning the war. go figure. no one compares to iaf and syria better be careful unless they want the country to look like southern lebanon if they ever lift a finger towards us. the israeli jets had a misssion....to test those ho so beautiful russian anti aircraft radars and missiles sold to iran and syria. well, guess what. israel found out that these batteries could be jammed, rendering these ineffective against the iaf planes. mission accomplished by iaf! they wanted to be noticed because that was their only way to see if these batteries could be jammed and they were sucessful in jamming the batteries, rendering iranian and syrian airspace volnerable to iaf attacks. sorry marwan that it didn't work quite to your advantage. now it's time for both iran and syria to demand their billions of dollars back from good old russia which sold them crap for a lot of money. and by the way, the russian scientists are still on the ground training the syrians and iranians in how to operate this system......because the arab mind is too weak iq wise to understand how to even replace a battery in a radio.

You are so right! Just one thing: These people would do the opposite: If they are full, keep them. If they are empty, send them back. Hey, this is the Middle East, you know, a bit like your neighbour to the south, maybe?! You're welcome for a visit any time! #12, Dear Joe, please don't believe everything you read in the news... WHO did you mean are the amateurs?!!! NOONE is an amateur in this area, dear, BUT THERE ARE LOTS OF LIARS!!!
21. Dear Peter in Belgium,
Helene ,   Israel   (09.08.07)
It was of course Father Christmas on his Rudolph dropping those what-ever-it-was. Someone wants us to believe in fairytales here!
22. #18. Are you volunteering...
Persian CAT   (09.08.07)
to sit in the cockpit of the last, I'll give you an advantage, IAF aircraft that will attack Iran??? Be careful because what gets jammed may be your arse.
23. to #22 ...the Persian KITTY !!
Peter ,   Belgium   (09.08.07)
Oh my G_d . You haven't heard the last speech of your poor Teheran's Dwarf !! He said that he is an Engineer, a very clever man , and he spent many days to calculate and calculate and calculate !! The conclusion was that an attack on IRAN is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. If after this clever speech you keep on talking about the possibility of an IAF attack........your fascist police could knock to your door.......and then the A.R.S.E could become a big problem for you...KITTY ;-).....But who can say...pheraps you like it ....KITTY

sorry you are mad, but the truth always hurts if not causes too much embarassement for the enemy on the other side. i am talking from experience since my husband is one of those oh so brave, skilled and genious in combat fighter pilot for the iaf. syria has no idea what is in store if they dare lift a finger agressively. iaf has all the technology to jam even the most sophisticated radar system, as was seen in this operation. the fact that the arab world and its supporters do not like the results and are embarrassed by billions spent for nothing, well that's life! better spend this money on the starving people of iran and syria rather than arms. and by the way, next syria is attacked in response to agression by them, there will be no cease fire enacted by the un. we have learned that those work against the moto of mission accomplished.

It could be a fake, Turkey and Israel do have American Made weapons and aircraft and their could be a possibility that the fuel tanks could have been made in Israel and place there by the Turkish Military during some kind of operation. But what I'm thinking that these planes weren't Israeli at all it looks to me of being Turkish but Syria could just be blaming Israel like is always does.
26. #25 yep, genious, you got it
(09.09.07)
and that is why israel is not denying. because they like to be blamed for nothing!

Syria is pissed, because they couldn’t down the jets and, adding insult to injury, the big, bad bombs turn out to be fuel tanks. Wouldn't it be hilarious to find out that Syria went after those fuel tanks with laser-guided missiles and missed those, too?
