1. Don't hurt Israel if it hurts us
V.R ,   RSA   (09.13.07)
Read between the lines
2. Israel keeps Hamas alive
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.13.07)
The government of Israel under Olmert keeps the power going to Gaza and keeps feeding the terrorists and supplying them with whatever they need to stay alive. So quick to show compassion to killers to gain worthless pr points with the corrupt and perverse nations. They do nothiong to stop the flow of weapons across the Sinai border. Truly Israel has no one to blame but themselves for letting such a corrupt ,worthless and impotent leader to move the nation forward to the abyss. Te Road Map has always led to hell and it's going to be hell in Israel because you followed this evil agenda and ignored Hashem.
3. border attacts
Jan ,   Nijmegen   (09.13.07)
send also a message: one rocket, one week no goods.
4. Wrong words used by Ynet
Hiram ,   Paris   (09.13.07)
Ynet needs to improve the quality of its editors, and quality control before publication in English. There is NO Government in Gaza. Gaza is NOT a state. The best word to be used would be "leading authorities ( although authority is no exactly the right word to be used ), or " the hoodlums temporarily in charge of Gazeans victims of the coup " , but certainly not Government..... again, Gaza is NOT a country, and it is NOT Governed...Check your dictionaries !
5. #2 Olmert is a weak leader
Mark ,   USA   (09.13.07)
The World is putting Huge Pressure on Israel because he is a weak leader. The world did this to Sharon and he gave them Gaza. Bush funds Fatah knowing that money is going to Hamas. Hamas says it gets all US money for weapons. There are a Lot of People to blame. There are many rotten apples in this bunch.
6. Use this time....
Thomas ,   Cleveland, USA   (09.13.07)
To blow the hell out of them! If they don't want to fight during their "Ramadan" Then fine, they don't have to fight, but you should.
7. #1 Marcel, you are right but ....
Hiram ,   Paris   (09.13.07)
...why don't you come over to Israel and do something instead of complaining all the time from Grapefruit land ? Let God do His Godly work, open your eyes, and may be you 'll understand better what is at stakes....Ha Shem 's got nothing to do with this. Prvious governments including Bibi's have a share of responsability in this situation....so has the "orthodox " community who has contributed to weaken Israeli Defence Forces in past years. As long as religion will be a component of the state ( Like in the Arab countries you hate so much ) we will have to face similar situations, like it or not ... Git Yar
8. Terrorists not to attack?? That's like putting meat in front
of a dog & tell him ,   not to eat it.!!!   (09.13.07)
9. Hamas logic
Hamburger ,   Hamburg   (09.13.07)
So they decided to care for the food to be delivered to their people just before Ramadan, when they are supposed to eat less? :-)
10. i'm so glad terrorists are so stupid
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (09.13.07)
they just now figured out that attacking the gaza crossings, though zionists are present there, actually prevents things like FOOD and MEDICAL SUPPLIES from getting in for them to use. you'd think they would be the first to protect the crossings. but that would mean that the terrorists would have to use their BRAINS and, since that's not written in the koran, they tend not to do that too often. at least this is ramadan because if they can't resist cutting off their own food supply, they can at least feel like they are being more pious by forcing everyone to fast 24 hours a day. morons.
11. #6 I agree 100%
American guy   (09.13.07)
Religious holidays have never stopped them from attacking anyone else so blow their asses back to the stone age! Oh yeah they are already there. Blow them back to Allah !!!!!
12. # 6
Bill ,   tor can   (09.13.07)
I agree 100%,, while there celebrating there silly little "ramadan" we should blow the snot out of them,, Now that would be something to celebrate..
13. so if there's shelling hamass is off the hook?
Micha   (09.13.07)
doesn't that logic only work in 1st grade?
14. Hiram
Richard ,   London UK   (09.13.07)
wrong word: what about replacing 'terrorist' with 'militant'? All impartial newsagencies in the world describe Islamic jihad etc as 'militant organisations'. I agree that Gaza is not a country. It's a prison.
15. #7 Hiram
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.13.07)
Come over to Israel now ,you've got to be kidding. I see what Israel does to those who opose their evil agenda 2 state final solution. I have more freedom 'presently' ,than I would in socialist, godless Israel where most of the population bow's down to their golden calf boy Bush and his sock puppet Olmert doing all they demand for no peace. The corrupt Kapo Olmert government sends out their Bolshevik Black Shirts on horses after Jewish women and children and bludgeons them for living on JewIsh land that Olmert wants to give to the Palestinian terrorists for Israel's god, George and his Palestinian state vision.. I'm not going yet ,but when Olmert is gone and Israel comes to their senses and seeks Hashem instead of Bush and his Road Map ,I will be there God willing.
16. HAMAS BASTARDS....
stephane ,   france   (09.13.07)
since ever, i have the feeling that the hamas is the side who hold the cards in this war! they decide when they want to launch attacks, they decide when they want a " ceasefire ", they decide when to start the war and when to stop it !!!! and now, why not (?), they ask their monkeys not to attack the border crossings during the ramadan because they need to eat !!! israeli are too naives to let them rule the game. israel is the only army who win wars but is ruled by the losers !!! DON'T RESPECT THEIR RAMADAN!!! BOMB THEM EVEN IF THEY DON'T ATTACK THE CROSSINGS !!! show them that an acalmy it's not only when it suits to them.
17. Another tack; pro-Hamas and anti-Fatah:
Uzi ,   Haifa   (09.13.07)
Israel should let Hamas to depose Abbas and smash Fatah, also in Judea and Samaria, in order to make it easier to abolish the PA and wipe it off the world map and consciousness. It will also open the way for the Kingdom of Jordan to take charge as the only viable nation state of all the Arabs of Greater Palestine. Having got rid of the PA, Israel and Jordan should agree on the border between them in Judea and Samaria and maybe cede Gaza to Egypt that would sort it out quite smartly.
18. IF HAMAS GIVES US THEIR WORD , WE SHOULD LISTEN
HAL TRIPP ,   LA PAZ, BOLIVIA   (09.13.07)
THERE ARE 8 ISRAELI SOLDIERS IN INTENSIVE CARE IN ISRAELI HOSPITALS,ONE WILL PROBABLY NOT LIVE,HIS LIVER WAS SLICED IN TWO, HE NEEDS A TRANSPLANT WHICH PROBABLY WON'T HAPPEN,NOW WE HAVE HAMAS TELLING THE ISRAELI AUTHORITIES TO LET SUPPLIES FOR RAMADAM TO COME THROUGH TO GAZA,SO FOR 30 DAYS THEY WILL NOT SEND QASSAMS TO SDEROT IF THEY GET THEIR UNITED NATIONS SUPPLIES,WAKE UP MISS LIVNI AND OLMART, YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED, THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
19. ITs very simple shut the power off to Gaza permanently.
freedom ,   canada   (09.13.07)
Israel has no obligation anymore to Gaza, as they have left the area. It is up to Hamas and Fatah to make the best of Gaza with the help of their Arab brothers. Gaza is no longer a protectorate of Israel. Let the UN or the World Bank or even the EU deal with Hamas. God bless Israel.
20. #15 be of good cheer
David Powell ,   Everett, Wa. USA   (09.14.07)
Hillary will come on her great white horse and save us all.
21. PRC promise message of death
Ramy ,   Wellington NZ   (09.14.07)
I just came back from Shul after spending two days of Rosh Hashana prayers. The Rabbi taught us to love our neighbours, tolerance, respect for other human beings and religions. Have you noticed these arabs; all they can think about is death. Messages of death, threats, destruction. May this Ramadan be the begining of a new era . May G-d Allah and Muhamed bless you with a bit of brain and the ability to think. Amen!
22. to # 16

23. Proof
paul malykont ,   United States   (09.14.07)
Perfect proof that sense and resove will win. Hit them when they attack, help them when they don't and have the courage and sense to keep it up.

Major ,   Florida USA   (09.14.07)

25. Does Hamas not share the same goals...
shmulke ,   w coast, USA   (09.14.07)
...of the Arabs who attacked Israel on the Jews' holiest day in '73?? Let 'em have a quiet, peaceful reflection...without food, water or electricity.
26. Messages of death?
Micha   (09.14.07)
