2. We had him... but let him go.
An arrest warrant was issued in New Zealand last year for Moshe Ya'alon's but in one of the worst cases of government interfering with the judicial process he was let go.
However that is not the end of the matter as there are many New Zealanders who will make sure that next time the arrest sticks.
Lets hope the enquiry proceeeds along proper legal principles.

3. No investigation of Hamas ?
The mentally unbalanced state prosecution and their no peace now allies now go after the protectors of Israel.
The crimonals Olmert ,Peres are safe for now as nothing has come of their Lebanon war failure.
The terrorists heads of Hamas and Fatah are safe but the IAF pilots and Faithful Jews, the 'Settlers' are in danger.
Israel ,the cancer rots the your soul.

A panel of psychiatrists would be appropriate.

7. Impeach them!
Impeach the prosecutor and every member of the high court who ordered this investigation. Such interference with the IDF undermines the security t of the country. During World War II, the allies killed tens of thousands of innocent Germans and Japanese. Only in Israel would they be considered criminals. With Israel's high court in charge, we would have lost World War II and there would have been no Jews left.

8. Court is high on pwer and meglomania
This is the same court that refused to hear a petition on release of terrorists for fear that it infringe on the government's power. Here it is arguing over the exact timing and size of an explosion against very dangerous criminal.
They are transparently political.

9. 2 Morris
The man Shehadah was responsible for the murder of 150 people, and the injuring of many more. He got what he deserved, live by the sword die by the sword. Of course,it is sad for the innocent victims including the woman and children who died that day. Mr.Shehadah was responsbile for the deliberate murder and injuring of hundreds of Israeli women and children. But you could care less because these victims were Jews right? If he was still alive, and visited New Zeland you would probably give him a reward.

10. Right wing angered ?
no , all sincere Israelis , from left to right are angered
If they find something to prosecute someone for this , who will defend them after this ? Wich soldier will go to fight our enemy ?
And what , if a murderer who has killed quantities of 100 % innocent Israelis , will hide in populated civil areas , with always dozens of human "shields" around him , does we have to refrain from attacking him ? do those human "shields" not know that they do something endangering their life , they are not innocent too . And , they accepted him as neighboor , so certainly also accomplices .

11. Bleeding hearts in hair shirts will be end of country
First, let's acknowledge that civilians lose "protected" status under international law if armed forces are operating from their vicinity. Israel shows greater consideration for civilians than is required, but that's to their credit. No one has yet shown how it is possible to fight a "clean" war under such circumstances.
Second, recall that another high-level militant was targeted earlier with a smaller bomb, and he survived. So with the rare opportunity to take out Shehada, and without full knowledge of civilians in proximity, they went with a bigger bomb. This is war. It happens. Move on.
But the bleeding hearts anxious to show how "moral" they are want to second guess those carrying out their duty to protect the nation. They stand outside the MOD libeling those in the military, and cooperate with foreigners to have them arrested for "war crimes". Shame on them.
Are we coming to a point where pilots and commandos must have a lawyer at their side to sanction their actions against the likelihood of future prosecution?

15. The roots of democracy
rely on strict independence between parliament, executive power an justice. Our megalomaniac judges forgot it and should be punished for interfering in a military decision in a country at war.

17. This is good news
I wish to express my congratulations to the Israeli State Attorney's Office on its announcement of the decision to establish a commission of inquiry on the murder of these innocent victims. I only hope that this inquiry will really be independent and not biased by political motivations. It's time to bring those war criminals to court!
