Normally, I'm not much got camping, but put me within walking distance of an archaeological dig, and this old woman will sleep on the ground, wear the same clothes, underwear included, for two weeks and not notice whatever bugs may have invaded every nook and cranny of her body. Civilization has cures for the vermin, but the joy of having glimpsed pieces of some distant past will live forever.
