You're absolutely right. Bin Laden only started raising the issue of the Palestinians when he realized it would gain him some "street credits" in the Muslim world. Not only that, but the attacks on 9/11 took place at a time when Ehud Barak was the Prime Minister of Israel and he was offering Arafat the best deal he was ever going to get. It's time that people understand that the only solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict that will satisfy the Islamists is the removal of Israel from the Middle East. They don't give a damn if there's a Palestinian state...in fact they don't give a damn about the Palestinians whatsoever.
