Having got rid of the PA, Israel and Jordan should agree on the border between them in Judea and Samaria and maybe cede Gaza to Egypt that would sort it out quite smartly. Everybody, Jews and Arabs, should continue to live in peace where they are and nobody should move from their homes or land. Israelis who would thus become residents of the Kingdom of Jordan should be given rights and conditions like the Arabs in Israel.

I always said that it was their plan all along. They knrew tht Hamas was considered a terrorist group and therefore they had to separate in order to fool US and Israel's Chelmlike leaders into believing that Fatah wanted peace. Get the money andland from US and Israel and then unite in order to defeat Isrel and destroy it frm within. There is no difference between Hamas and Datah in their aim---only in their method.

If Fatah and Hamas make up then it wont do Abbas any favours in the west. Right now most western leaders love Abbas because he is the face of the so called moderate, he wears a suit and doesnt shoot a gun in the air calling for Israels destruction he looks like a man the western leaders want to do business with. Hamas have taken over Gaza and established their own form of government so everybody is saying Abbas is not Hamas so we can isolate Hamas in Gaza and we cam do deals with Mr moderate Abbas. If Fatah & Hamas make up and Hamas is put back in government and keep the same old policies then it will be the same situation as it was before the split Abbas likes being the centre of western attention as the man they all want to know including Olmert and Bush who keep singing praises about him and want to do everything they can to strenghen his power against Hamas at the same tiime they condem Hamas for being a terrorist organistion. So Abbas is the love of the west as long as the split continues bring Hamas back into the picture the rules of the game change.
